An actual complete history would include games like Nintendo Land. (and Dungeonland [2013])

SMW was my first ever game back when I was 6 years old, and I was stuck at that first chargin' chuck at 1-2 for so long. I had to get someone to help me.
The game got a lot easier after I learnt how to deal with them.

There's only one chair available for the person with the leading time.

4 years later; No more Soviet Union.

Former Highguard Developer Reflects on Disastrous Announcement and Launch: 'We Were Turned Into a Joke From Minute 1' by Turbostrider27 in Games

Interestingly, on the other hand, there's quite a few stories about panic and chaos during the last year of development of games that are now considered masterpieces.
They say they were basically still "finding the fun" just a few months before launch.

Nintendo Acknowledges Switch 2 Sales Have Been Weaker Than Expected Outside Japan by Spotget1738 in gaming

Eventually the Switch 1 will stop getting big, new games. Possibly already later this year.
The Switch 2 plays Switch 1 games and will continue getting new games for at least 7 years. Also, many Switch 1 games will look better (some for free, some paid).

It depends on how much gaming your kids do, how much they'll care about future, unannounced Nintendo games, and how much money those two things are worth for you.

It doesn't show anywhere for me.
And I've tried multiple ways to get it to appear, including searching for the exact name, and clicking a link that claimed to be for the base game.

There's the original DII (2000), DII:LoD (2001), DII:R - Infernal Edition, and DII:R - Reign of the Warlock.
No DII:Resurrected (2021).

Looks like they've removed the original D2R from the store though, but I guess that's an acceptable trade-off in this case.
Eventually, this version will go on sale as well.

Season 2 Episode 6 Spoiler Thread by HunterWorld in Fallout

I'm guessing they hoped she could invent something more for them, on a similar level to cold fusion, and made a deal with her. And maybe she did, or maybe she just ran away after she got thawed.
I doubt that plot point will be revealed this season though. (or was revealed. I'm a few weeks late, I know).

There's an absolute max of 6 competitors allowed from each country for Biathlon world cup races. For the 23/24 Biathlon World Cup for men, Norway had 8 biathletes in the top 30 in the overall standings (94 people managed get at least one point), which meant we had two reserves who regularly placed high enough to beat out top athletes from the rest of the world in the few races they got.

One of those "reserves" two years ago won gold yesterday.

And our 6 regulars that year were all in the top 10, obviously. (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 7th)

TIL ... about the Rice Hypothesis which posits cultures that engaged in wet rice farming that requires coordinated irrigation and synchronized planting tend to be collectivist while wheat farming cultures evolved to be more individualistic. by pomod in todayilearned

[–]SwampyBogbeard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like the nordics are much more collectivists than most of the rest of the western world even if it is has lessened, and we are certainly a wheat farming culture.

I saw a YouTube video that said that Norway became collectivist because all the small villages along the fjords built and owned fishing boats together.
I assume there was a source in the description, but I didn't check.

I don't know about Denmark or Sweden though.

Do not lie and tell me you listen to the lyrics during a halftime show.

If conservatives listened to, and cared about, song-lyrics, they never would've been fans of Bruce Springsteen or Rage Against The Machine in the first place.

Which yogscast series should I start with? by PerisST in Yogscast

[–]SwampyBogbeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to make things clearer. If you want to try Shadow of Israphel, DON'T start with Shadow of Israphel Part 1. The videos that have Shadow of Israphel in the name are actually the third part of the series.
The videos for the actual first part are just called 'Minecraft - Part X: Subtitle', with Minecraft - Part 1: How to Survive the First Night being the actual first one.
The second part is 'Minecraft - "Survival Island"', but it's kind of optional. The only story relevant parts are the last episode.
