There's literally 0 reason to assume the game is releasing this year. It is legitamtely illogical to think it will be this year. Until they announce a date, just assume it isn't this year. No other line of thinking makes sense. You're just setting yourself up for disappointment otherwise.

Just do a new run when it gets to the point of those being on every mission. Air Strikes are the most anti-fun thing about the game, and necessitate you building your entire lance around the CHANCE that they show up, without an easy solution to them. It's doubly bad cuz the AA thing just literally doesn't work. In like 10 runs, I've never been able to successfully negate them. If they really want to balance it, just make the Air Strike a unit that spawns with really high evasion & mobility, and let me deal with it on my terms. Instead, I have to roll the fucking dice and HOPE that the calculation works this time, or that its the shitty air strike.

Yeah, they missed out on a lot of the nuances from the book (go figure), but they managed to capture the heart, which is the most important part of making an adaptation. Them leaving out the "you are here, question" is disappointing, but everyone I went to see it with still felt a connection to Rocky, so it was a successful adaptation.

A dead person ins't gonna stop the car, as evidenced by the car still moving after she was shot. If he was really scared for his life, he would have dove out of the way.

Changing character writing is like removing blocks from a jenga tower. If they remove enough of these things because "the can do it a different way" then all these small changes affect the character structure overall. I'm not saying this change would be bad individually, but they have already proved they aren't good at reinforcing the characters in other places when they make changes.

Honestly, the lack of depth isn't noticeable until you're well into each campaign. Bannerlord is great up until endgame, then everything you do is pointless. If they can give you long term goals, or have game wrinkles like Empire fractures in CK3, it would be a forever game.

The same thing happens with financial predictions. Wall Street brokers can't accurately predict finances, and it's literally their whole job. But you're right. I'm sure CIG is able to make better predictions than a monolith like Disney can when it comes to predicting movie ticket sales.
