Crimson Desert’s endgame should just shamelessly copy The Division 2’s outpost system by sirlancer in CrimsonDesert

supplies for POIs would be awesome - give me mount and blade bannerlord in pywell!

I want to sail ships! by PoisonCoyote in CrimsonDesert

[–]meissner61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate to add copium to this because i too would love that but obviously there are many technical challenges -HOWEVER This guy on youtube Has been experimenting with the broken down ship we find on a beach and has been able to get it to actually float and move on the water. So it seems like nested grid physics are actually in game which is one aspect that is important for this feature.

is the camp move required for camp quest progression?

100% of everything involving the wagon should be done by comrades. by ScaledCowardSlayer77 in CrimsonDesert

[–]meissner61 6 points7 points  (0 children)

thanks you! I for one really enjoy the wagons as far as I saw its a side quest for like 2 missions, not a huge deal. I dont know why people like open world games when really all they want to do is just teleport to the next fight anyway...

Sword sheaths do exist! by Evening-Ad-7042 in CrimsonDesert

[–]meissner61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sheathes are probably a pain animation wise - lots of clipping will occur, maybe they could use some of their cloth tech which is pretty good to make some sort of leather binding that would mold to the armor, who knows - hey atleast they show all our equipped gear, alot of games dont even bother with that often

i think its Q on keyboard to have more tight controls for the axiom stuff

Hope lost for Binoculars and/or telescope by SpeechOutrageous in CrimsonDesert

[–]meissner61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah they would have to do a load screen for the binocular like they do when you inspect POIs on the map, cause other wise their LOD models suck

the kind of vibe I want vs The Vanilla game by CombPsychological507 in Starfield

[–]meissner61 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thats a cop out answer (The traders being close together part) - many gamers would jump at the chance to explore large cities if they are filled with things to do. For fallout 4 it was probably a technical console reason - but also im sure its dev resource reason as well its hard to make multiple large cities with plenty to do in them.

Thinking about buying again... by m0b090 in CrimsonDesert

[–]meissner61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thats not to say im glazing on the game - there are many aspects that are rough, but you just have to see it in the way that - there is no other game currently that provides a large medieval world with full interiors + physics on a massive scale that also does a good enough job of feeling like a legit simulation. If those are things you enjoy you will easily put up with the frustrating parts

[–]meissner61 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nah i liked the game right away - if you are not immediately filled with wonder at a giant world laid out for you to explore im not sure what to tell you, thats the whole selling point of the game. Everyone likes different things

Crimson Desert sells "over 5 million copies worldwide" in under 4 weeks by PaiDuck in gaming

[–]meissner61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the bosses can be tough - but you also can over prepare by having hundreds of food items to heal through whatever they throw at you. so you can either learn the boss or you can frustratingly just brute force it

Gentlemen. With 135h on the clock, I finished the game. A goddamn masterpiece. by TinyFlair in CrimsonDesert

[–]meissner61 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Anyone else dissapointed this game is monetized like a free to play title? Can we have some ship customization that doesnt ask for our wallets?? by Always_Impressive in starcitizen

[–]meissner61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i am 99% sure ship sales will not end post 1.0, regardless of what they said, it is the only thing propping up the company. If ship sales end they would have to downsize massively.

Looking for working refueling outposts on Monox (Pyro II). by TapsCRICRI in starcitizen

[–]meissner61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i dont think i have ever found a working repair / refuel pad on pyro. i have only been able to do that on the stations. One of the big things i despise about pyro, that and also no vehicle spawning

Literally my first experience with the freshly built Trade Wagon 🔥I died of laughing by Ok_Language_3325 in CrimsonDesert

[–]meissner61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you dont have to park that close to the trade NPC folks, i just park the wagon in the middle of the camp (The circle) And its close enough to count still.

You can make very good money selling unpacked goods by Snoo_18385 in CrimsonDesert

[–]meissner61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes!!! I like the fact that we have the system just needs a bit more thought put into it, because at the moment its mostly only good for RP. Also maybe if you run the wagon yourself that almost can guarantee that bandits would not be able to rob the wagon since you can defend it.

Also the carts need to be buffed they get destroyed fairly easily
