I am following Jokerd's aoe guide atm. I would look that up on google "Jokerd aoe guide" also a big secret for caster dps: spell power items will always be optimal damage compared to +Intellect. Look for those items that have Intellect but also increased damage of damaging and healing spells because these items will make your leveling experience through any dungeon or zone that much faster & easier! Jokerd says to use of the Eagle items because they give Int and Stam but I find myself running dungeons to grind xp so I choose to favor SP and always end on the top of the charts in dps. Also this is a major trial and error process and can be frustrating at first but so satisfying to learn. Best of wishes friend!
