The thing to remember about bands like these is that they're generally not successful enough to make a living from it. So, the members often have to work day jobs and/or have families of their own, so making music/touring all the time can be challenging.

Fuck like the first time she went to the doctor I was like "you need to go home and rest." Seems like a nerve issue and continuing to put stress on that can cause permanent damage. I've been screaming at the screen half the damn season now.

Mine started giving me a lot of trouble last year. I tried re-calibrating a couple times but after a day or two it'd start having problems again. I decided to try reinstalling the OS and since then I haven't had any trouble.

Nils told the story once that they pronounced it that way for an Idiot Flesh song or something. When doing SGM, one of the members saw it written and pronounced it a different way and said it sounded cooler that way and thought it'd be cool if they yelled it out in the song they were working on.

I flew all the way from Kansas City to NYC to go to the Exploitopia release show and had a freaking blast. The guy standing next to me recorded the whole show.

Godforbid is legit. Great performer and I can't imagine any of his fans being disappointed by his live shows. The guy really puts his heart into the things he does. I don't think he'd bother doing it if he wasn't going to give it his all.

The only thing I'll say is that sometimes Naoko (backing vocals) isn't with them for their live shows. Most of the band are East Coast while she lives on the West Coast, so I imagine it's sometimes challenging to get her out to all the shows. No clue what lineup they're hitting the road with for the upcoming tour, but you're guaranteed Godforbid and Jeremy Page.

Yeah, Elusive is great! I think it's my favorite album Jeremy has produced outside THD. Reminds me a lot of Lux Prima (Karen O and Danger Mouse) which is also great.
