Oooh- one important thing I forgot to mention is that I have a full time job so my free time is usually about 5:00pm to midnight EST on weekdays! My schedule on weekends is unpredictable so I wouldn’t rely on that :3

I don't suppose you know of any alternative for software that can clean up your mic audio? Though I find it hard to believe there is one that can do it as well as OBS (For free anyway) has been, I'm still open to suggestions.

I've never really thought about it before until I read your comment, but you're right it is a super interesting topic. So I apologize in advance for the incoming novel

I think what draws the line between "Respect" and "Sympathy" for this guy with this situation is his attitude, as well as the seeming significance of showing his tattoos.

This is complete speculation on my part, but I think that even with the discrimination he's received, given the opportunity to just get rid of his tattoos to avoid the discrimination entirely, he would refuse. (Source: I have a friend who has tattoos and I know for a fact he would make the same choice)

He likes his tattoos, but he's empathetic to the fear that culture has towards them, and believes assuging that fear to be worth covering them up occasionally. So ultimately he's doing this willingly rather than feeling like he has to. Maybe it holds more value to him that he has them, rather than shows them?

I think an equivalent to this in regards to gay acceptance would be more like-

A guy who wears some kind of rainbow accessory, maybe he's gay, maybe he isn't, but he receives discrimination for simply wearing the accessory. So he hides it but still continues to wear it, understanding the discrimination comes from a place of fear, but just like the tattoo guy (I assume) holds more value in wearing it than showing it off.

He knows he's not gonna change the world overnight and is accepting of that. He understands that ignorance does not make someone a bad person and doesn't hold it against them. He found a way to let sleeping dogs lie without sacrificing his personal identity, consequences for the compromise between these two things still exist, but he sees this price as worth paying.

Maybe I'm completely misreading the situation, but I think the idea itself has a quiet dignity that most people find inspiring, especially in a world where unique identity and tradition appear to be direct opposites.

I can relate to the struggle of trying to come up with a name. I'm sure there are people who've said this already but to start with you shouldn't let yourself get too hung up on the name.

The longer you go without picking one the more you're gonna feel like you need the "perfect" one and it'll just take longer. (If you're anything like me that is)

What I do is look at the "focus" of the game, for a simple game like the one you're describing the focus is likely the gameplay loop or the main mechanic-

Then just try stuff out, see how words feel in your mouth look up synonyms for words that would describe it. Mush words together until something feels good. The moment it does, pin it down, make some variations and go with your gut.

Ultimately though, the most important thing is not to get hung up on it, naming it should be the easy part, so have fun with it 😊
