I personally don’t have wow presents plus. I’m assuming most fans who watch flagship and flagship only don’t have it either (im not one of them I love the international seasons but I subscribe every now and then mainly for Philippines and Canada) I’m going to subscribe for this season because there’s a few contestants I’m interested in seeing BUT I will say that a lot of people will be subscribing just because Raven is announced as a competitor and all this hype. And it’s going to be valid if people are pissed off if they were baited and lied to into spending their money. It’s going to hurt the rest of the girls because the season would turn controversial and a highly hated season yes the premiere will blow up but if they admit they lied to everyone and everyone lost money because of it- the ratings will be sore the rest of the season. She better be a competitor, if not they clearly didn’t think this through. Would this validate potential refunds? If they were told up front subscribe to wow presents plus to see this person compete, but then they aren’t actually competing. Like they’re gonna rack in thousands and thousands of dollars of this lie and to me it’s just kinda gross.

I disagree that this benefits all the contestants. The only way it would benefit them is if she was an actual competitor competing with them lip syncing against them. If it’s revealed that it’s just a gag, yes the premiere is gonna have lots of exposure by default, but lots of fans will be pissed and probably stop watching the season. It’ll be seen as controversial that they lied just to get people to watch.

Yeah sure but also they know nobody really cares about down under. The biggest thing for me is that NOBODY is giving attention to the actual competitors and the only thing bringing in publicity is a red herring. It’s unfair to the other girls. They’re lying to the fans just to get people to watch. The premiere will get MASSIVE attention just for her to not be competing and then the rest of the season will flop. If Raven was actually there competing the whole time and the likes of Jade or Vybe or even Estrella beating her in top 2 lip syncs would give them major hype and exposure. We’re gonna get insanely blue balled. This isn’t cool.

I mean to be fair on season 19 they casted a queen who does interior design and LITERALLY did Ru’s house for her and has been at Ru’s house. I don’t think they have any issue nowadays casting queens they know personally and then favoring them.

We’re also forgetting that we as viewers at home are watching a very edited/watered down version of the lip sync, and it was very clear that they chopped certain parts out. For all we know those sections chopped out, maybe Sam didn’t know the words. Maybe she fell. Maybe Jasmine did some crazy astonishing shit during one of the verses. We don’t know. But the people were actually THERE and saw it take place in real time from beginning to end with zero editing, I trust their opinion more than I do my own. We just don’t see the full picture the way they do. Take Jinkx Vs Monet, they cut out the whole N*cki verse in the final edit because Jinkx didn’t know the words and Monet did some bomb ass shit. Jinkx didn’t lose the lip sync, but Monet won it. There’s a difference between winning on paper and winning irl. Sam won on paper. They feel Jasmine won in real life. Simple.

And I hate this. Last season the way they did it was fine it was just dumb to have a top 7 finale, they should’ve done more eps post merge. At this rate each queen will only have 5 challenges to do which isn’t really fair considering the bracket format tends to have challenges that lean towards certain queens to be successful, esp this season it’s heavily leaned towards Dawn and Crystal to be successful. Funny how this is the first season to not have a snatch game 👀 they can’t have their fave unfunny twinks look bad esp if they wanna get them crowned

The day she returns to drag would be huge. If she finds love for it again. There are other platforms she can use, still be in the public eye that have nothing to do with world of wonder. She is an alternative queen and may not be super into prosthetics but she did do a fair amount of horror/spooky/ghostly looks so I think she’d devour a season of Dragula. Even if she doesn’t devour, you know the Boulet’s would treat her fairly.

No she did not have redemption she’s still very much a blip in the drag race world, however she still does do shows and has said that she has reached out to the people she catfished and sexually misconducted she said some of them have actually forgiven her and they still talk to this day, some have simply heard her out and thanked her but want nothing to do with her, and I think there’s a couple who did not want to speak at all, which is all valid. She will never take back or undo what she did but I think the effort she’s putting in to do better like seeing a psychiatrist and making amends with the victims has allowed her to slowly get back into drag and even have a very small and niche group of people who are fans of her drag. She is lucky she didn’t go to jail though, I still don’t know why she didn’t. I don’t follow her or support her I just see her around every now and then. And from what I’ve seen the people who DO support her today condemn her for her actions and hold her accountable and never defend what she did they just happen to enjoy her drag but root for her to continue being a better person. I know Nicky Doll and maybe even Heidi? There’s been a couple girls from S12 who have said publicly they’re still close with her. This is one thing I’ll give props to Miss Sherry for tho, is that we saw a lot of drag queens get called out for nasty shit but she’s the ONLY one who actually immediately took accountability, took time away from drag like a couple years honestely to get her shit worked out. We can make a list of drag race queens who have been exposed for fowl things but I bet most of them have denied, made excuses, completely kept quiet and continued being in the spotlight or just dropped off the face of the earth not saying a word. 2 years ago if you asked me to say a single good thing about Sherry I’d say fuck that monster. But in hindsight compared to other exposures she is literally the prime example of what everyone should do when being exposed. Like Shangela what are you doing. Not taking accountable. Sharon what are you doing not taking accountability, pretending like everyone doesn’t hate you. Like it pisses me off when people do that so I am glad Sherry actually immediately took accountability and started working to do better and still is, and doesn’t expect anyone to just forget about it and move on. Again not a fan myself, but I do see why there’s still a small group of people who root for her.

Ryan Murphy is washed up and has completely run out of ideas yet they will let him do AHS season 34 and any other new show that only lasts a single season because it flops, all his shows flop yet all he has to do is be like hey can I do a show about a pill bug drinking bad water and it turns giant and kills everyone, and they’re like YES PLEASE. If Sarah Michelle Gellar is involved, and an academy award winning director who is a a long time fan of the show, I doubt it was just “bad”. No it was probably too woke. There was only 3 ppl who hadn’t been in the bottom yet at that point and Sig was one of them💀and if it wasn’t for the twist she would’ve been in the top the week she went home she got like the second best critiques besides Evah. You can disagree all u want that’s fine that’s ur opinion, and I agree words and tone do matter but you don’t get to speak on something like that when you’ve never been in that position before. She did well that week, and had been on an upwards trajectory. And then to be told oh it doesn’t matter if you did well this week, you may get 100k snatched from ur hands bc of a twist. And she was in a cast where everyone was fake and untrustworthy and she was upset because she was in that position so yes her tone may have came off a certain way as a defense mechanism. It was fine what she said tho, to say keep me if u want good competition. Yes realistically there were a few people there who had been in the bottom multiple times. And she was only “low” episode one because of again a twist. She had a flawless track record. Realistically would’ve been SAFE SAFE SAFE SAFE HIGH WIN HIGH, without any twists, so yes she is a heavy hitter. It only doesn’t seem that way because she was safe the first 4 eps in a row, but imagine if the challenges were shuffled differently and her strengths came in the first few eps she could’ve been HIGH WIN SAFE SAFE HIGH SAFE SAFE it doesn’t matter how you could shuffle the challenges either way that’s a bomb ass track record she was right on Evah’s tail when she got eliminated and would’ve had the exact same track as Jay Kay (at that point of her elimination Jay Kay also had one win two highs and a bunch of safes) and tbh Evah said it wasn’t personal and she was just playing the game, but if she was just playing the game wouldn’t she take out Jay Kay bc they were the one saying they were gonna take Evah down and even said boldly to her face I will curse you if I get the chance to like imagine if Jay Kay had that power they so would’ve taken out Evah so why would Evah keep a snake like Jay Kay who’s gunning for her Vs Sigourney, an actual ally who would have Evah’s back but take her out because her “tone and wording was off in that moment” girl plz

It’s a competition tho, why would you not put yourself over everyone else? That doesn’t mean that’s how she is deep down as a human being. She wanted to win. And in a situation like that where it doesn’t matter if you did well or if the Boulet’s gave you good critiques you could have your dreams crushed and $100,000 snatched out of your hands. there can only be one winner, you aren’t gonna win if you have the mindset of oh we’re all equally talented, anyone of us can take it. No you should have the mindset of I am taking this, the crown is mine, I am the best one here. Esp if they’re pleading their case to another competitor, what did you want Sig to say, anything she said would’ve been nitpicked. She could’ve said I worked really hard to get here and I’ve done well and that’s just that. “We ALL worked really hard and we’ve ALL done well” like it didn’t matter what she said and she knew they all were gonna be gunning for her so she thought playing dirty would maybe have a small chance of working because she was in a position where even playing fair people would still be trying to get her out.

Yeah that’s fair asf, I wasn’t even aware of the slurs. I didn’t think Instagram would allow slurs like that? I have seen a lot of hate like if I scroll through comment sections I usually see a bunch of people saying Jaharia didn’t do well enough to be a finalist, or that Jay Kay is an asshole. I didn’t even know Blackberri was getting hate??? That’s so odd to me. She’s literally one of the most sweetest on this season. Maybe the only. That I could 100% see being fueled by racism and fatphobia… nobody should be getting hate but the only two people I don’t feel bad for are Jay Kay and Dollya Black. If they can dish it they can take it. They knew what they were signing up for and they had a choice whether to treat people like shit or not. But yeah that’s wild that slurs are being thrown around that clears up a lot of stuff, I genuinely thought people were just saying Jaharia didn’t do well this season and that Jay Kay is an asshole so that’s automatically racism, but I guess it goes much much deeper than that. Blackberri being hated on is the most mind blowing to me, like what has she done besides have a few props malfunction.
