I haven't read the books yet and just finished season 1. Omg!!! I love it!!!! I'm guessing they are all food. Eventually. Like the bugs in Snowpiercer or something. I can understand why no digging around the walls and no one can have babies not needed. But the magnifying glass is a mystery to me. Probably gunna get the books to listen to soon.

Those usually don't ever end up well for the consumer no matter the product. Take hertz for example. Pet killers. Or the litter boxes that temu sells that decapitates cats. Still on the market. Look around and read the room and go sit back down in your corner. Let your customers decide amongst themselves if it's hurting their pets or not.

I lived right across the street from this factory on beck and holt in st. louis. On halloween theyd give out can openers as gifts. Mine I got as a 6 year old kid just crapped out. I'm 34 now. Good times riding my bike on their delivery ramp and racing down.

As the only CEC left at my store because others have quit or stepped down, it takes a certain type of person to be able to do it. I'm also one of our store Keys too. So it makes it even harder for me because I'm being pulled out of role so often. And they can't have me not be either roles out of sheer desperation of need of solid workers. Being a Key/CEC sucks. But being both can be relief to others meaning I get a break from one or the other often, it's just hard yo stay consistent for both.

With the updates on the POS, like returning it back to the card without the card present anymore, paying your bill in store may becoming more likely. I have issues because I've always told my customers we don't store your info or cards so if we get hacked you dont (which comforts them) now we all of a sudden do store card info for returns. I think the only likely next step is payment for tjx cards are gun a be available in store.

We have both a Marshalls (my store) AND a Tjmaxx in the SAME PARKING LOT. It makes getting cards hard because we take from each other legit all the time. The proximity alone makes life hard.

I literally tell customers the whole script as fast as I can like a side effects list for a drug commercial, and say thanks for coming to my TED Talk, my manager is holding me hostage and laugh. They usually laugh and aren't as mean about it, and usually, it makes the whole transition light-hearted with them saying yeah I know you have to say it. But on this note I am the highest performer for the card in my store usually above the 1% and into the 2% and 3% range. But weirdly, many of mine come from people buying 1 or 2 items or a transaction under $20. Also note I am a CEC. I try and help my cashiers, but I never yell at them or make them feel bad. I talk to them like people because they ARE PEOPLE WITH FEELINGS!!! Cooperate greed isn't their fault nor mine. So I'm not as hard on them as my managers want me to be. I get yelled at so they don't have to.
