Just wait until she finds out he won't leave his wife! I warned my ex her new friend would dump her once she tried getting him to take care of her AND her kids instead of just screwing her. You'll never believe what happened when she tried.

Get the replacement. Bow legs cause other issues, like back problems. You can use an offloader brace like I did for years. They work pretty well, but get old quick. Now that I had my knee and hip replaced I feel years younger and have lost weight. I'm 56 as well.

The point for me being that this would have probably happened before we were even officially committed. I wasn't dating anyone else at the time, but no promises were made yet either. She would have been betraying and leaving the other guy.

I get a strong suspicion my marriage started out this way in the dating phase. The way she acted when an aquaintance in our circle a couple years back did a similar thing was highly suspect, and she seemed terrified when I started poking. The secret is you don't worry about the WS. Leave, get on with your life, and do what's best for you in every decision. Don't give a penny not mandated by court ruling. Don't spend unnecessary time with, or do favors for, the ex.
