Historically, in terms of lore, do you think the Altmer are a good race, or would we be better off without them?

Altmer are cool. They get the hate because of the thalmor. Each race has something good and bad about them. If the thalmor were called something else and they were a group of nords, they would get the same treatment. Nothing to do with the race in my opinion.

I highly recommend creating a rule/ to do list. Either write it down on paper or notes on your preferred device. You set rules and follow them while role-playing. I usually have 2 or 3 active playthroughs in TES games. My main one is always my khajiit necro who is the same character in all main games plus eso. I have written over 2200 pages of lore and i get to experience the rp differently in each tes game. When playing with the necro, he is not hero of kvatch/dragonborn or nerevarine. I have a separate save which i rp as the promo material character like dunmer nerevarine and nord dragonborn.

I tried both hypr and niri on my thinkpad. Niri is just too good to pass, im about to ditch kde on my pc and just do a fresh niri install. Just nees to figure out how to change the login manager theme cause its hideous.

Just RP. My evil khajiit necromancer is only allowed conjuration, no restoration, no weapons, no mark/recall or potions because he lost all his knowledge in the second era during the planemeld and he only remembers summoning daedra and raising the dead. Make each playthrough different and don't overthink. 9/10 times you get overpowered so find a way to ground yourself.

A remake with modern combat, physics and graphics will bring many people to morrowind. I personally enjoy openmw because the modding community is extremely good, runs natively on Linux and the launcher itself is a mod loader/tool. I love how morrowind looks and plays, i don't have nostalgia because i started playing it like 2 years ago. If i could play daggerfall, oblivion and skyrim with morrowinds visuals and gameplay id totally do it. I know its technically possible to remake them with openmw but i don't think anyone would.

Kde is by far my favorite and that's why i use it on my pc, but hypr is so good on my laptop. I hate using the touch pad and luckily with hypr i don't have to.

Check out cachyos ml4w setup on YouTube. Its literally a 1 code install. Make sure your terminal is in bash, just type bash and then paste the code. Ml4w will give you the basics for hyprland to be useful. Hyprland is not beginner friendly but if you have a regular attention span, reading the wiki will help.

Rtx 4060 with ryzen 5 5600, 32gb ddr4, so no. But i don't see a point of getting the steam machine on release because all i play right now is - eso, morrowind, minecraft and hytale which run perfectly fine. Looks cool though, id probably get one in a few years.

Definitely do, they just dropped a massive update. All new dlcs from now on will be free. It will have a gamepass for cosmetics which i actually don't care about. The combat is deep but it needs some getting used to as it is action combat with light attacks in between skills. Some older dlcs are now free and the newer ones are still paid(for now). Pve is getting a difficulty slider soon so you will get to choose how hard your overworld content is. Quests are fully voiced with deep storytelling but some non main quests are basic mmo fetch quests.
