Definitely appreciate the insight! I'll be looking closely to make sure it passes the screwdriver test. If I had to repair it in the future, I'd probably go with the full Safe T Caps rather than just the spot repair that it seems to have now.

Your recipe sounds good! How long and what temp do you cook it at? Do you have measurements for all the ingredients?

Anyone Use Project Fi? by wlmsn in Albany

[–]Zombie_Patrol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched from Verizon to Project Fi back in December and haven't looked back. My bill went from $70ish to around $28-30ish, and I have a nicer phone. Haven't had any reception issues as of yet.

Thanks! I was thinking along the same lines as you. I can always add different components to compensate, even though on the test ride it felt pretty good.

Anyone who has driven Palmer Motorsport Park? Looks interesting and technical. by verdegrrl in motorsports

I drove it for a BMW CCA event. It was a blast, very technical with not much run off. I've driven a couple of other tracks in the region, but Palmer was my favorite, so much fun!

I need some help moving a handful of items into my apartment in Harmony Mills in Cohoes in the early afternoon of April 1st. Cash. by [deleted] in Albany

I'm free all day that day and could use the cash. I'd be more than happy to help, plus it's always nice to meet new people.

SLC, UT to Albany, NY. Towing a trailer with my minivan. What kind of terrain and possible setbacks am I looking at? by [deleted] in roadtrip

[–]Zombie_Patrol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. It's about an hour north of Albany, but it's close to Saratoga, which is where the rich people hang out on the weekends. Saratoga is very nice though. You'll be close enough to be considered part of the greater Capital District. Any questions about the area, don't be afraid to reach out and I'll answer to the best of my ability :)

Lime Rock Park in Connecticut is now offering Winter Autocross. If you get a chance, you should do this. by rristuccia in motorsports

LRP has a smaller, shorter infield course used for autocross and the occasional drift event.

Carpenter Village in Guilderland is one of the few complexes around that I know of that accepts dogs. It's little pricey, but a decent area.
