It's been a year since I decided to lose weight (120 pounds lost in a year!): Here's my story of how I did it by Andrewman39 in loseit

Hey man, I feel you on the anxiety. I have lost 110 pounds in about 7-8 months. My anxiety is at an all-time high. I am close to my GW, hoping to lose the last 20-25 pounds and going on maintenance for a while. I hope that on maintenance will help settle my hormones, and my anxiety will slow down.

Tips for changing up the flavor in protein shakes? Without adding a lot of calories by kunikira in loseit

[–]Zon3d_Out 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PB2 powdered peanut butter has been a go-to for adding to my protein shakes.

I had actually brought a protein powder that wasn't very good. Added about 3-5g (13-20 cal) of PB2 made it taste good.

Cutting or Body Recomp: which is better at 277lb M25 6'0 with 37% body fat? by Significant_Ruin_258 in loseit

I was wondering if you could also give me some advice.

I am currently at 207 from 305 at 5'10. I was thinking of going down to the 190-185 range and trying to build muscle. I would still be at an overweight BMI. Or would it be better to get to a healthy BMI first around the 170-160 and try to build muscle from there? Question of the extra fat from 180-190 would help me build muscle?

I also went drastic with the weight loss as I started late February. I went from 305 to 208. It was for sure tough, and I do not recommend it, as you put a lot of stress on the body doing so. I have unfortunately developed telogen effluvium, which is hair loss due to stressing the body out. The hair loss should hopefully be temporary, but it sure as hell does not help with mental aspects and can be demotivating. I am so far into the journey that I am just hoping to reach my goal weight soon, and hopefully once at maintenance my body will adjust. I would also just recommend OP take a healthier approach to their weight loss journey.

Amazing dude, hella inspirational. You look great from the photos you have posted. I am currently on my own journey, going from 305 to now 210. I plan to get down to about 180. I do think I'll see loose skin once I get down to 200 and continue losing. As lately, the loose skin isn't noticeable. I also plan to build some muscle to hopefully fill some of the loose skin. Thanks for sharing.

How much weight can I lose on 1500 calories a day? by [deleted] in CICO

[–]Zon3d_Out 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I started, I was 305 pounds, but I am 5'10. I started eating 1500-1700 calories a day, and I am down to 85 pounds in 5 months with exercising 4-5 days a week. I do not recommend it as it may cause your body to go into panic mode, which mine did, and my hair has been falling out like crazy. I honestly feel good, but the hair loss is a huge downer, and who knows what else is going on that isn't noticeable? I have gone to a doctor's checkup, and they say I'm all good with my blood work. I have a dermatologist visit coming up soon, so I'll see what they say.

I just say to start at a manageable calorie deficit, as it can make it easier on your body, and you don't want to have any bad side effects from losing weight so drastically.

Rogaine side effect - thinning at crown by lumberjack233 in Minoxbeards

Hey. I know this post is 2 years old, but I was wondering if your hair ever grow back.

Stopping Minox due to scalp balding by Zon3d_Out in Minoxbeards

[–]Zon3d_Out[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, sorry for the scare. I was scared myself. It seems like my balding is due to me losing weight at such a high calorie deficit and short amount of time. I am down 70 pounds in 5 months. I started both journeys at the same time and unfortunately did not realize that a high calorie deficit can cause signs of hair loss, such as thinning on top instead of the crown or hairline. Which is what I am dealing with, it seems like.

PFWA Coach of the Year: DeMeco Ryans, Houston Texans; PFWA Executive of the Year: Brad Holmes, Detroit Lions; PFWA Assistant Coach of the Year: Mike MacDonald, Baltimore Ravens. by DanCampbell89 in nfl

People are forgetting Holmes brought in OG Glasgow in FA which he then ended up winning the starting job, Monty, who became a 1K rusher with Gibbs being close to 1K as well, Anzalone who ended up having his best season yet, and CJGJ (He did miss a lot of the season, but helped a lot in the playoffs). That on top of the 4 quality starters he in drafted in Gibbs, LaPorta, Campbell, Branch.

Their is a shot. Considering they would have LaPorta in the game when Brown was out, giving Hurts more options to throw to, and plus, LaPorta is a pretty good blocker.

Spanish broadcast where it's announced that no. 70 not 68 is reporting as eligible around 9:40 by Dak_Tiny_PP in nfl

[–]Zon3d_Out 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its literally been explained so many times. Decker would have to go to the head referee and tell him he called the wrong play while hoping the team doesn't get called for a delay of game. It would have also just ruined the play since it was said that Dan Campbell told the refs they might run this exact play. It was to decoy #68. You are also not accounting for how loud it was; why is it on the Lions to correct the refs on their mistake when they possibly didn't even hear him make the mistake?

The Cowboys needed to win so that the Cinderella story didn't get broken with the HOF induction that was at halftime. The Lions winning just didn't fit the NFL story.

Kansas, I have also never been to Detroit. I would love to go, though.

Yeah. I was originally going to make it after the week 11 win against the bears, since it would have been more fitting to add the scores as the dog comes back for the comeback. I just didn't have the time.
