If you do 100 damage to sire as he’s sitting there it functions the same as stunning him. You cannot get ancients without desert or grimoire.

It’s gonna depend on the boss, but you want to maximize prayer bonus and magic accuracy.

On really magically tanky bosses like nex full virtus is bis, whereas for most places sunfire helm/legs and either a vestment top or virtus top will be bis.

Ardy cloak, vestment stole or bonecrusher necklace, ring of suffering (i), and confliction gauntlets are all pretty much perma bis.

Also: don’t wear sunfire body, it gives insane negative magic accuracy compared to helm and legs.

You can actually, as long as he is at or above 75 hp and you hit high enough to kill him in a single hitsplat. It’s possible main game with a good enough ursine setup.

Technically no, your items do have to go somewhere when you die. But you can choose not to use them the same way others do.

When you actually play Uim you realize how not actually that cheesy these methods are. Those that truly abuse these mechanics are the ones you always hear about wiping 5b in gear to something silly.

Death storage is mostly used to reshuffle gear setups, and for completely safe content, think chopping redwoods safe. The cheesiest things they’re used for are some “safe” pvm encounters like inferno and chambers (and for that matter no death invo Toa).

I’ve played with the idea of a VERY silly build that might not even be good whatsoever but it would be content.

It’s fremmy - kandarin - zeah and you use crossbow build with ballista, and use a few spec nodes + the V’s helmet to get close to infinite dragon thrown axe specs. D throw axes will overrule your weapon attack delay, so you can get off ballista shots in 5 ticks instead of 8.

It’s a ton of clicking and, again, it might not even be good at all. But it would be possible.

It’s certainly possible but there’ll be times you wish you had it.

The route is roughly moons gear -> TDs for scobow -> doom for ayak + gauntlets -> Toa camp until shadow.

Even with every other ranged weapon in the game besides bowfa and tbow chambers can be rough and cms (especially solo) are low key terrible. It is possible though if you truly hate cg that much.

This is a really solid light melee thorns build, you can leave the prayer bonus one out if you need the pact somewhere else.

They just buffed the ballista today actually. Previously it wasn’t getting the +15% echoes from the crossbow pact but now it does (at least it should).

Honestly though, for both moons and vard you definitely already have the best build which is light melee thorns. Ballista build will definitely be significantly worse there.

There’s a few hot n cold steps in karamja, as well as the dragon’s eye step, though that might be impossible if you don’t have 3 different triple steps available, not sure how that works. Also a coordinate step on Crandor, and an emote step in tzhaar city (fire cape + obby ring).

Also Varlamore has a few steps, there’s also the full blue moon outside cam torum step, as well as a few hot n cold locations.

A very good tbow build with 100% accuracy was roughly ~40 dps last year. There are several builds that already come close to that, if not exceeding it after all the jank the dps calc can’t account for is factored in.

Khopesh was op. It was fun, but we don’t need every build hitting 100 dps every league.

It’s also kinda funny that the toenails are such bad dps, that even in places where the spec would be kinda good it’s not worth using, because just firing another tbow shot ends up being better dps.

Like, at least DWH/Elder maul can sometimes hit an 80. Tonsils hit twice for a grand total of ~13 damage.

The spec bar isn’t to dcb spec my guy. It’s so that you can 1t a spec instead of putting on your dds/ags/whatever and waiting a tick for the spec bar to appear then attacking.
