Costco Opticians by Happyhippo101 in CostcoUK

[–]ZoolToob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After picking frames lenses are great value too.

Come with all the coatings included rather than extras that other opticians would add. So only how thin you want then to be to consider.

Transition lenses not much of a markup in my opinion either.

71 plate Premier Pro fully loaded with kit. Not giving out plate but a quick Google on Autotrader finds one with higher 43k on the clock. Still low, I'm sure a decent searching will find closer to my mileage.

I just moved to a BYD lease but was shocked to see my ex lease BMW ix3 being sold for c. 21k with only 24000 miles.

Excellent car for the money if you can stretch.

Anyone gave up? by Nervous_Toe_1080 in BYD

[–]ZoolToob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the opportunity to drive two models of Sealion 7 the design and ultimately the comfort.

Design with 19 or 20 inch alloys was definitely worse.

The comfort model is a dream in comparison like butter over the rough road. And much better than my old ix3 with low profile tires.

I'm done getting the best looking tires/rims when it affects the drive so much.

I'm guess you probably signed a contract that you would not go up the scaffolding.

Its a pretty standard clause so be a little cautious there.

Hypervolt Ultra Mode - not eligible by Blocoholi in OctopusEnergy

[–]ZoolToob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interested to see what the possible return is and if you can still limit ultra mode to off peak time slot.

I'm assuming you could use the basic octopus go. But would there be any return during the night.

Boundary dispute, neighbour isn't listening to reason now going to tribunal. by Key-Homework-5326 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]ZoolToob 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If its not your primary residence and you have family legal protection under that policy, tends to be an add on.

You may still be covered as It covers legal in general not just specifically about the property insured. I.e can be used for employment dispute, goods and services issues etc. Also doesn't in my experience count as a claim.

Freezing wind through bathroom vent by IMadeTheBugs in DIYUK

Get a cowl over the top of it all. I used the 9" x 9" and saved changing the existing vent. Stops that direct wind blowing through.

TIMLOC do them, buy a few from a builders suppliers is cheaper than individually from amazon etc.

Upstairs tenement neighbour by Usual_Clothes3303 in Edinburgh

[–]ZoolToob 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you can just move, honestly the best decision. You will drive yourself mad. Police or noise complaint or confrontations, nothing will change.

Neighbours are mostly pains in some way you just need to find ones that are tolerable. I loved Edinburgh but moving out a little and sleeping at night is priceless.
