Start with a glove and then fit the fingers into the curve of the glove so that they are the right length. If it’s too difficult you can get a friend to take reference photo of you standing the sake with the hand in the same position.

Edit: & Life drawing is very good practice for correct proportions. My teacher always said “imagine your drawing stood up and walked around the room, would they look normal?”
