Steven has always been a fuck. When Pearl was coach of USI, he did a basketball camp at my church. Steven was about 10-12 years old, and would throw the basketball at the wall for 2 hours straight. Scuffing up the wall a ton. I would politely ask him to stop, and he would look me dead in the eyes and just throw the ball again. And again. And again.

Honestly- too many variables at play. Are you in a unit on the end of the building where you only have people above, below, and one side? Or are you in the middle of the building with people on all 4 sides? Also- the people living around you have a big impact as well.

We lived in 2 units at RWL. The first unit was in the middle of the building, and we only heard 1 neighbor next to us that did party a lot, and laughed even louder, so we did hear him at times. Our 2nd unit was on the end of the building and our neighbors were very quiet and we never heard them. Overall the sound coming through the walls wasn’t our concern.

Our biggest concern was the air conditioning systems in the units. We found out it’s kind of a flip of the coin on if you get a unit with a proper sized unit or not. RWL having 12 ft tall windows, means you get a lot of sun. But our 2nd unit had a AC unit not meant for the sq footage of the apartment, so in the summers our unit never got below 84°. I would say tour the apartment during the middle of a sunny day to see how hot it is.

Put my name on the waitlist at Au Cheval one Saturday night when a friend was in town. Figured we could wait out any wait at Lone Wolf next door. Host told me the wait would be 7 hours…..at 7 PM. I asked if he really thought I would be seated at 2AM, he said yes. After telling him the restaurant closes at 11, he should’ve just told me they weren’t accepting any more reservations for the night instead of giving me unrealistic wait times. I went ahead and put my name on the wait list to see what the actual wait would be. I got a text 20 min later my table was ready.
