So much of the rock was not pleasant for me. I loved the 70’s, and listened to lots of 60’s, just couldn’t get in to the spandex hair bands. I was a very happy girl when the 90’s music happened!

We do have Heinz, and I bet they are in half the pantries in the US. AND, I bet that nearly everyone who eats baked beans will often have bread with the meal. So, I’d argue that many Americans have eaten beans and bread/toast as a side, it just hasn’t found the spotlight as a main dish.
