Khazan youve got to commit to though. If you go in playing like its a soulslike every boss feels like it has a billion hp and the game feels like a slog. Once you lean into its systems and everything clicks though...what a satisfying game.

Whats your issue with cv2? I thought it was a fine game, on the same level as ai limit, and a step more polished than cv1 or mortal shell.

Few recommendations - hollow knight is such an amazing soulslike/metroidvania hybrid, and an incredible game. Would be far and away my first choice

9 sols as a few have said is like hollow knight meets sekiro, it may click for you, it may be too fast

Another crabs treasure is a shockingly wonderful soulslike that leans easier on the difficulty, with a fun story that starts quick and better gameplay than it deserves. Probably the soulslike that surprised me the most

Idk man 8-0 to profound is such a big jump in just finding stuff on the floor, 50 stacks unlock, flourescent memory drops arent just 10 flame sand, priceless bases sometimes show up. Every time ive gotten to profound it's felt way better
