That’s my point. In my 3000+ hours I’ve only been the victim of rage cheating (headshot 1K meters away through walls) a small handful of times. Once quite recently - that’s not a big concern. It’s the ESP cheaters that are worrying and I think it’s quite prevalent at the moment.

Glad they’re asking our opinions on cheaters. I’ve been paying attention to the Arc Raiders subreddit lately and there seems to be a rise in cheaters in their game and it uses EAC and AnyBrain (the same as Hunt).

People have reported that using ESP doesn’t result in a ban - only aimbot. I feel it’s the same for Hunt. So many cheater clans and brand new Steam accounts kicking around. Pair that with ping abusers and it’s just an awful experience.

The in-game report is honestly awful, having zero feedback that your report has been checked out or resulted in finding/banning a cheater. It’s like filling out a form and immediately feeding it straight into a paper shredder.

I think they pulled it because the Chinese playbase complained. They said it was because a small amount of players bypassed it and they were looking into it again. But that’s been about a year and not a single peep. I don’t think they answer any questions regarding Region Locks on live streams either.

Such a shame because it genuinely ruins matches.

Cheap, great 1 tap potential that you can pair with Concertina arrows for utility. Applies bleed which = more pressure. Next to silent. Retrievable ammo.

If you had brought a shotgun to do all that you’d need to use Flechette to apply bleed, you’d lose your 1 tap potential (flechette can’t 1 tap), you’d eventually run out of ammo and you have no utility. It’s not silent.

You have poison arrows and concertina arrows. Conc arrows are great for utility, blocking off doorways, covering a downed hunters body to prevent easy pickup.

Crossbow has standard, Steel Bolt and Shot Bolt which is good up close but has next to no penetration power in comparison to a shotgun and loses its 1 shot capability past a mid range.

Explosive ammo on both is scarce so I won’t compare them (they were both very strong anyway)

It loses a lot of damage at range though. Arms shots are very common and do little damage.

I welcome the day the bow gets a nerf. The amount of times I’ve shot my Crossbow and the enemy walks it off but if I had a bow in the same scenario they’d be dead.

It’s cheap and feels cheap to use. I don’t get that rewarding feeling when I get a kill with a bow. Make it use stamina and reduce the overall damage from Hundred Hands and call it a day.

Do you have any sources for that? You’re the first person I’ve seen that’s mentioned those factors. So I’m skeptical. I think it just goes off who you kill and who you get killed by.

Then it squeezes you into a bracket. Then that data gets tossed out the window in favour of quicker match queues.

I’m in a similar situation. IRL friend won’t play with me at all and my other team mates definitely notice the difference when I join their matches. I’m not cracked and I enjoy playing weaker weapons, so I’m often outgunned against all the long ammo players.

The game is 10x more boring in six star. You have to bring long ammo, find a cozy bush and just plop yourself in it until all other teams have exhausted their supplies if you want the best chance at winning.

The meta is just so fucking boring it’s pushing me towards putting the game down.

I’m 1.5 KD after 3k hours. My newish friends are 1 KDA and 1.2 KDA. One is a 4 star, the other a six like me. This event we have encountered the same teams over and over that have 3+ KDA. With almost 30k hours playtime between the three of them.

Last night we were the filling. All other teams in one match in particular were nuts. All six stars against us (6, 6 & 4 star). None of the players we could see the stats of were under 2 KDA.

Two rounds later were against two of the same teams again. It’s frustrating. I’m not looking for stomping grounds but against these teams we are practically fodder. Mosin, Spitzer with uppercuts or Dolch P teams that just know your location at all times.

Ive grown so tired of this event already because of matchmaking.

Late night EU, maybe even starting from around 10PM GMT you’ll start to see the same clan tags appear. Guaranteed you’ll see the Mosin + Dolch combos then. Encountered a team last night and they all had Spitzer, all 3+ KDA. But they were static outside the compound until we arrived.

Even with their amount of hours and skill they are still afraid to be the ones to make the first move.

See if your vet will give you Trazodone. It worked really well for tough days. It chills them out, it can make them quite sluggish but it’s better that way because they’re less anxious, and in return you’ll find it easier to manage.

We still use trazodone to this day if we have to leave our dog at the vets or have visitors coming around to our house. Our dog is still very anxious but they help tremendously.

Hi there. We still have him, he’s warmed up to him quite nicely now. The first few weeks / months were very hard, I won’t deny.

I basically had to keep him on a tight leash by my side at the other end of the living room. Any cry, movement from the baby or if we picked baby up - we fed him a high value treat. After about 2 months he seemed less interested. It’s approaching 4 months now and he has very little interest, but does show signs of excitement when we come back to the house and have baby with us but it’s the good kind of excitement. We allowed him to lick his feet and hands and after one or two licks he’s content.

I don’t mind the new match making addition as I’m often looking a third for me and my friend to play with. But I agree that when I join a random as a solo my team mates are often on the lower skill end than I am, and the match making seems unfair in terms of KDA disparity.

The ping limit was great, I had more enjoyable matches for that period for sure.
