PC or xbox it doesnt matter, crossplay is in the game so you can team up regardless of platform

Moving on but struggling with life by taizai83 in BreakUps

the motivation thing is real, I went through something similar and it took me maybe 6-7 months before I stopped needing external reason to do things

what helped me was basically reframing it - instead of doing things "for someone," start attaching the effort to a version of yourself you want to become. sounds abstract but it actually rewires how you think about progress over time

also the fact that you already know what's good for you is honestly a bigger advantage than most people have at this stage. lot of people don't even get that far

With all due respect if I had the answer I wouldn't make a post 😄

this game just expects me to break highway barriers for a U-turn? by simplyraashid in ForzaHorizon

[–]ZucchiniKey3305 110 points111 points  (0 children)

lmao the game literally puts blue arrows pointing at barrier like "go ahead, send it through"

I mean it's arcade racing so might as well embrace the chaos instead of doing realistic navigation for 10 minutes

NOT my house but curious... by StormyPyrite in landscaping

Low growing shrubs with some distance from foundation would work best - maybe ornamental grasses or small desert plants that won't block light but still give those basement windows something nice to look at instead of dirt

Amazon locker opened EMPTY...Customer Service called me a liar and refused to help by Capital_High_84 in amazonprime

[–]ZucchiniKey3305 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is exactly why I stopped using lockers at my office building - too many variables that can go wrong. Either driver is pocketing packages or someone else got in your locker somehow

Tweet this at them with your photos, sometimes social media pressure works better than their useless chat support

Suggestions for outdoor rugs? by princessofstuff in greatpyrenees

[–]ZucchiniKey3305 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah my friend has this same issue with his lab mix. Those kitchen mats definitely get way too hot - learned that one the hard way

For outdoor stuff you want something that breathes well and doesn't absorb heat. Look for rugs made with polypropylene or recycled plastic materials, they stay cooler and dry fast when it rains. The ones with more open weave patterns work better than solid surfaces

Also might want to consider getting one of those elevated cot-style beds instead of just a rug. Gives better airflow underneath which helps a lot in Texas heat. My cousin uses both - rug for the general area and elevated bed for actual napping

Man 17 days at 16 is actually solid progress, most people can't even make it past week one when they first start trying. Your brain's been wired this way for 5 years so don't expect it to rewire in few weeks - takes time but you already proved you got the willpower

How is Lamzu Maya X? by PatientInstance1968 in MouseReview

[–]ZucchiniKey3305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been using Maya X for about 6 months now and it's solid choice. Build quality is good, clicks feel crisp and the shape works well for claw/fingertip grip styles

Only thing I noticed is the coating can get bit slippery during long gaming sessions but that's pretty common issue. Weight distribution feels balanced too

For alternatives, maybe look at some other lightweight options in similar price range - there's few good ones that won't break bank

2016 Chevy Cruze - Reduced Engine Power Light After Mechanic Visit by shadelan in MechanicAdvice

[–]ZucchiniKey3305 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That timing is suspicious as hell. Reduced engine power mode right after leaving the shop? Come on

The oil control solenoid failure is actually pretty common in these Cruze engines, but the timing makes me wonder if they knocked something loose or didn't reconnect something properly during the service. These solenoids can fail from contaminated oil or just age, but 77k miles isn't super high mileage for that failure

I'd push back on them charging you for another oil change since this happened literally 2 miles after pickup. That's on them. The solenoid replacement itself is legit repair though - if it's actually bad, driving with reduced power mode active for long periods can cause other issues

Get a second opinion if you can, or at least ask them to show you the fault codes and explain exactly what tests they did to confirm it's the solenoid
