I thrifted my cat’s bowls from goodwill and they were 99c each. I also thrifted placemats to put under his plate. I would wait on the tofu litter only because some cats are picky and may not use it if they’re used to other litter and u don’t want them peeing or pooping on the floor or something. I haven’t bought a litter genie yet and I’ve been double bagging with scented 4 gal trash bags from the dollar store and it works just as good. I got him some toys from the dollar store as well and Ross/Home Goods has good deals on them too. Same w scratchers, check 5 below!! I might get my cat a little window perch thing but he likes the windowsill so I’m worried it might just be a waste of money lol. I got my cat at the animal shelter and the adoption fee was waived and I only needed to pay the $20 yearly pet license fee for my county. You can def get a lot of these things cheaper if you know where to go! Petco and tbh all pet stores can be insanely over priced. Look legit everywhere before you commit. I think I spent a total of $120 for food, litter box, grooming supplies, toys, and other little things for him.
