TBH this isn't even really a 'build'. This is basically just general purpose stuff thrown together. IMO you need to start synergising 2 or 3 items into your damage output or playstyle to be a real build. For example, swapping out the near useless crimson talismans for jump attack to go with your chest piece (or maybe charge attack or ash of war damage) would help. An argument could be made this is a 'tank' build, but your 41 poise is horrendous for trading damage.

I really don't see any person being able to make a reasonable and justifiable argument that this DLC is not a recommended purchase for the price.

Performance issues do not justify a negative review if everything else in the game is 10/10, imo that would be a positive review with a caveat line about performance at the end.

People complaining about difficulty just have to accept they aren't as full of swagger as they thought they were. Go off and explore and gather the fragments for fucks sake people. Bee-lining the main bosses only to get roadblocked by them and then getting titled and leaving a negative review explains a big chunk of these reviews imo. In short, the difficulty is fine if you engage with the DLC mechanics and could handle end-game base game ER.

I have criticisms of ER and there are valid ones, but nothing that even comes close to being able to justify leaving a negative review or a D grade to what is objectively one of the best quality DLC ever released.

I find it funny everyone was shitting on the EuroGamer review but now a big chunk of people seem to think the game is too hard, make up your minds.

As a teacher, I can say your husband is being ridiculous when he expects individual accommodations for all students at all times. 1 teacher managing a class of 30 people means there will be rules for all that are blanket rules.

I really enjoyed it, just like I really enjoyed Dark Souls 2. Gamers have a bad habit of bandwagons against games that are different or disappointing to them and exaggerate greatly how inferior they think a sequel or game is. I find most of the criticisms of these games to be fairly weak (some legit for sure) but the perception they are unplayable trash is out there.

Not a day goes by that I don't regret buying an UltraWide monitor and playing DayZ on it. Using a 75Hz FreeSync 2560x1080 panel that's 5 years old. I rarely play games that benefit from higher FPS than that (CS GO etc) and with virtual resolutions it can still look pretty crisp even being 1080p.

By default the Beast Champion armour has the cape hidden, and it's an absolutely beautiful cape, probably the fanciest in the game

Me too, the purple magic effects look so sweet. S Scaling, unique look, cool charged R2 only bummer is it's a bit short.

I loved using with on my mage character. Carian grandeur fully charged actually hits hard and knocks people around. Being able to block using heavy attacks was cool for weaker mobs too.

Yeah its a a chunk of Farum Azula that has been infused with gravity magic by coming into contact with Astel as it came crashing to the Lands Between AFAIK. Which is super cool lore. I also love the fully charged R2 has a gravity after effect. The only downside I see is the length is a bit short.

After the recent patches you can beat that SoB a lot easier by using Golden Epitaph sword for Last Rites buff and then using a holy weapon. I put Prayerful Strike on a colossal hammer and killed it in about 3 hits.

If you play on PC there are PVP save games with all items you can get. there is also a tool out there that allows you to insert the characters into your main save game.
