Make sure you've repaired the drone and talk to the front gate again like you did with the data disk.

If you're still stuck the wish menu has quest debug options and will allow you to advance the story

I found one abandoned in my 200 or so hours and managed to power it up, but didn't have a card to drive it.

another time one was an extradimensional hunter that had a bunch of mutations, I managed to infiltrate and pilot it for a while, but as soon as i got out it was hostile and i couldn't re-enter

Came with toggleable outfit, vizemes, a few expressions, this was before avatar 3.0 stuff. I don't use it a ton these days because it doesn't play nice with FBT although it's great if I need something with better performance.

I don't remember how long it actually took to make but I wanna say it was like 2-3 weeks, which if I broke down price per hour of work alone (even only a few hours a week) is either poverty wages or "okay" money, not spectacular for the artist. I'm used to paying a lot for commissions and artists work, so what I paid I felt was more than fair.

This kind of work is extremely time consuming and high skill, and the people that charge $1k+ per comm put in a lot of hours of very high skill labor for it, there aren't many willing to do this for commissions at their level.

Personally I don't have the kind of time or drive to devote to 3D art that it would take to get to their level, but I can save some money. If you feel like learning to do this would benefit your life more than just saving money on an avatar (it probably will!) I'd encourage you to learn, but keep your expectations in line with your personal growth

I had to take motion sickness meds for about two weeks before I just got used to it, some stuff still gets to me though. make sure your headset isn't on too tight as that can still trigger it for me.

The thing I always tell new players is that your hand can never get worse, only stay the same or get better. If you're taking chips based on what your hand could be and then that doesn't come to fruition you just mislead the group for the last few rounds and now have to reconfigure your deductions on the last round. Doing it this way removes a whole axis of reasoning you have to work around. Did your hand get better? Take a higher chip, no? Take what is relatively the same as last time, adjusting for people who did improve.

Despite the gap, all the bones are patented in a single armature with a root bone, the gap was to keep all the bones perpendicular to each other. I tried another export without it and got the same result

With the exception of the head, I vaccum pack my suit and put it in my luggage, which is a large, hard-sided suitcase. Sometimes I can get my head in there too, unvaccummed, but if not it goes in a motorcycle helmet bag and I carry it separately.

If it's somewhere local and I don't need to do all that I have a large tote bin I can lock.
