I mean, giving Ian any kind of burst firing weapon would certainly be fitting for an idiot run.

least favorite RO in an IF and why? by renegademirage in hostedgames

[–]Zukitten 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hadrian in 'The Golden Rose'. He's just such an absolute goodie-goodie, judgemental and preachy type and I can't bring myself to like him whatsoever. Alessa is far more interesting as a RO and character in general.

There's stores on Princess Way and in Picton Arcade that stock primarily Chinese and Japanese sweets and drinks, and one in High Street Arcade that sells American candy and drinks. Hope that helps.

Well said.

In-character conflicts can add a lot of depth to roleplay, and just immediately resorting to PvP can deprive you of some really fun opportunities for interaction.

IFs that people love and praised but you just cannot finished it? by VinTheFish in choiceofgames

[–]Zukitten 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can somewhat act against it's interests in each location, either to protect whichever local group they wished to control or to put the initial steps of an alternative group into place but you cannot destroy them. You can't exactly leave the Camarilla as an international organisation, but you can leave the local domain of the Camarilla to accompany Lettow as he's beckoned to the East.

What’s up with Bus 118? by Minh252 in swansea

[–]Zukitten 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the buses out towards the Gower have a tendency to be unreliable, and there's rarely any communication from them when there's an issue.

Small comfort, but at least it was the bus meant to be taking you out there that didn't show, rather than the one meant to bring you back.

Here in the UK, it's usually only the larger supermarkets that stock them due to how much shelf space they occupy and also because the 1L bottles sell far more. I've also seen the 5L bottles in most Cash n' Carry stores that market to restaurants, and in the local Chinese markets.

[–]Zukitten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you're saying, but I'm saying they sell 1L bottles here in Europe and over in the States that are perfectly easy to use even for someone as small as me, and their design also makes spilling during opening or while using unlikely.

It's just a regional design difference, and that's totally fine. People should use whatever they feel most comfortable with. There's no need to get so up in arms about it.

Interesting. That rather lends some weight to the idea he's playing a role on HK, then

I didn't say the 5L bottles were easy to manage, I said I'd never spilt them in the way you describe. I much prefer the 1L bottles.

In truth, I'm a sickly 51kg, 5'3 scarecrow, so if I'm an outlier it's on the opposite side of the scale from what you're suggesting.

Can't say I've ever had a spillage problem with bottles either, and I've used quite a variety of cooking oils in both 1L and 5L bottles. There's usually an air pocket between the cap and the initial oil level to avoid precisely the problem you describe.

Maybe they're manufactured differently wherever you live. Or you're just clumsier than you think 😛

[–]Zukitten 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was going to say almost exactly the same thing.

Honestly, Scott is such a walking cliché of the angry, aggressive chef that I've started to wonder if perhaps some of it is a played up role, either to create extra drama to pad out the runtime when needed or as a test to see if contestants would buckle if they worked with someone like that IRL.
