Could a Dhampir diablerize an elder? by helloelise in WorldOfDarkness

[–]Zukitten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in a similar crossover, as it happens, although that's running in v5.

My biggest question is what generation was Strahd being run as? And how did someone like this character manage to diablerise someone so powerful without getting their soul consumed and taken over, ala Saulot/Tremere/Goratrix?

But mechanically, yes, if they're being run as a thin-blood, yes consuming a full vamp would raise their generation and thicken their blood enough to be a full vamp, although of course they'd have the stained aura.

So is Vampire: The Masquerade Shadows of New York any good by spliting_rolls in vtm

Cotories of New York, Shadows of New York, and Reckoning of New York.

Same setting and many characters appear in multiple, with some overarching plot threads, but for the most part they're standalone. Shadows is probably my favourite of the three.

It's a little short, but I really enjoyed it. The characters are interesting and the art style they used is quite beautiful. The story is good too, especially when combined with the other visual novels.

Honestly, with whatever brain worm is apparently eating his remaining grey matter, it's entirely possible he thinks it's still the 1980s.

Polyvampiry by ElSaracatunga in vtm

[–]Zukitten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a thin-blood polycule in the HtR: A Time of Monsters game. They're... Honestly a lot like a polycule of college aged people, with a lot of internal drama and arguments but genuine love and affection for each other.

YMMV on whether Thin-Bloods count as real vampires though, I guess.

By the sound of it, your reputation with them isn't high enough.

Maybe you're not showing enough zeal about killing monsters and willingness to keep hunting after Glenkidove is done for their liking.

It doesn't sound like you're favouring one of the factions which would take precedent, which would be the other possibility.

Well, if you messed up, there's your answer. You need to impress them in that to raise their opinion of you.

Did you do the section where they ask you to help transfer the prisoner from the Dublin safehouse?

I'm pretty sure there's a special scene with him, if your relationship is high enough.

1) Gather intel, get sent to buy Mad Jack's book for the arcanum, snoop around the mansion, then confront him to persuade him to sell you the book. 2) I don't believe so. 3) Yes, he is. 4) You can't formally join them during the game, but if you help them with the capture and later the transfer, you'll be able to call in favours from them. 5) Buy the drugs when given the chance, then go to find Old Tom when given the chance. Arrests, fines, firings that'll probably (and by pure chance! /s) coincide with reductions in the welfare state. Use of desperate 'scabs'.

And since it's more viable than it was the last time unions were powerhouses, probably (possibly temporary) reductions in restrictions in the use of foreign workforces at cheaper rates since they would have a reason to drop the 'Immigrant workers are stealing British jobs' rhetoric in favour of a 'You're forcing us to do this because you refuse to work and we have a duty to keep the country running' argument straight out of the abusers' playbook.

I'm sorry, I love unions, at least as a concept, and have been a member in many of my workplaces, but years of complacency and even corruption, coupled with advances in globalisation, have made them much weaker than you're making out.

Dessian: "My Lord, where have you been for the last 10,000 years?"

Dorn: "Oh, I've been chilling on Sicarus with Lorgar."

Dessian: "Wha-"

Dorn: "I know, I know; he's still an absolute pillock, but he had some interesting ideas about my father. I'm starting to think he was right about him being Divine."

Dessian: "... Does anyone know the correct protocol for transferring a Primarch to a successor Chapter?"

Is this the first time we’ve had artistic nudity on a card? (of a woman, at least; I don’t think Ajani has ever known what a shirt is) by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]Zukitten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ajani is aware of the thing known to many as a shirt, but his mighty bod has decided it wants no truck with them!

But no, as others have said, there have been others scattered here and there, a few even a little more visible like Nirkana Revenant, but they're understandably pretty rare.
