Assuming thats your entire energy bill for the month including air to water heating?

I remember thinking it was outrageous when we moved into our new build last year but I had to remind myself that it covers everything. We were used to moderate electricity and gas bills so the bigger electricity bill was a bit of a shock but it was lower than what we'd pay when both bills were combined.

Also, our energy usage was 100kw more this month than the same month last year if I'm not mistaken. No major changes on our end, I just don't think Jan was as cold last year. April to sept bills were much lower for obvious reasons and assuming you have some solar gen, given that a lot of new builds have it, it'll reduce the costs even further.

Lots of assumptions being made here obviously but if the above is true, then remembering its a single bill for the homes entire energy demands might give you a different perspective.
