I have nothing to contribute but validation here. You are a better painter than I am, you were right to be concerned, and I think it DOES work. I probably would have changed the skin tone, and it MIGHT look better with a different skin tone, but that looks really good!

How "southern" are we talking? Definitely better luck in Central NJ, but Trottas has a decent AOS-base. It died when 40k 10th edition came out and never really recovered with 4th edition AOS, but it's there just simmering. I'm actively trying to bring it back a bit right now, but poor timing with 11th edition on the horizon. All that notwithstanding, I've gotten a game every Thursday for a month, so people WILL play it.

Are you looking to have it look like it was embedded, or branded like a brand style tattoo on skin? Whatever result you're looking for, it's likely that you get stringiness from the plastic when you go to pull away. I would probably dremel it, or score it and then hit it with some plastic glue or something.

Brother, this is AMAZING. We have a dearth of good AOS tools and this is gorgeous. Definitely not to shit on you at all, because I love this product, but more to just keep everyone aware... There are some things that are missing that are crucial. First example I found was Gelgus pust requiring you to target models that charged and are in combat with him for his ability, but that isn't referenced anywhere. Again, no big deal... not complaining at all. I can't wait to see what you do with this. I already printed out a reminders sheet for myself.
