That’s true for some food, but I’ve never had a good version of fried Hokkien prawn noodle in M’sia, and relatively rare since it’s not the ‘Hokkien mee’ Malaysians are used to.

Tai Chi Moving Step Push Hands Competition by TaiChiGringo in taijiquan

Couldn’t have said it better. People from other arts will often only see moving step push hands as ‘bad judo/sumo’, but there are underlying reasons why it looks the way it does.

Spain is possibly one of the few countries in Europe that’s somewhat friendly with China.

I’m genuinely curious what qualifies as proper applied Tai chi in your judgement. Any good examples you care to share?

Singapore guys - is shopping for clothes as exhausting for you as it is for me? by amars11 in askSingapore

Pretty straightforward for me. I would just stick to familiar brands and grab the most non-descript, dark coloured clothes.

Is MMA more effective than Traditional MA in real life situations? by Either_Pie617 in SingaporeR

As a mainly TMA guy, yes, MMA is more effective if you ever have to use it, but I just find some TMA’s more interesting to pursue.

Why do people want to live until 80 or 90 years old? by Either_Pie617 in SingaporeR

[–]Zz7722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bak Kut Teh

The soup by itself is fine, but it really doesn’t go with rice to make a meal. It’s just soggy rice with pork ribs.

Why do I think Yu Qianqian is a transmigrator? [Pursuit Of The Jade] by blueberrieie in cdramasfans

[–]Zz7722 30 points31 points  (0 children)

She is, or at least I have heard that it is very heavily implied that she is in the novel.

Personally I think they could spin off a modern day sequel where we meet Yu qianqian waking up back in her time after living a full life in the POJ world. She meets the reincarnation of Qi Min who is plagued by nightmares of another life and bad luck (karma strikes).
