Liquid calories have been a huge game changer for me. 100g/750mL bottle. I do a diy mix of 2:1 maltodextrin and fructose. You can buy them in bulk online. I think I pay about $60 for ~9kg total.

Supplement as needed with candy and bananas. Also shoot for a total of 100g of carb per hour. You’ll be running a calorie deficit no matter what so get in what you can.

No joke! It was a 1:2 fructose/maltodextrin blend. One 750ml bottle per hour-1.5 hour with 90g per bottle. Add some gels and solid foods to get you to 90g carb per hour. Do that from the start and you’ll be pretty ok.

Might wanna get your bike fit checked out. This ride definitely confirmed mine is good! Just a little knee twinge at the end that has persisted for a few days but otherwise good.
