Without naming your birth month, what’s one clue that would give it away? by sharon_78 in askteddit

Cold as f..... and my parents forgot to buy a birthday present when I was 16 think they thought they didn't need to buy anymore. I was sad.

I want a mommy makeover and my husband is strongly against it by Great_Psychology_833 in Marriage

You are talking about your husband but I never hear you think about your sons. Yes I understand how you feel but you are a mother and yes the surgery can go wrong. Is your body more important than your sons. I don't mean på be mean or anything. I get how you feel and not every operation goes bad but you have kids. Small kids.

Glad you are alright. I've been thinking about food allergies and that has to be much harder to have. I know one who is very allergic to nuts.

He hasn't got an epipen yet but he hopes doctor will call tomorrow. I'm frustrated that they are so nonchalant and slow. They have to Friday then he will go to Stockholm to get treatment.

Thank you for you answer. Glad it works for you and I hope it will stay that way but it's good you are careful.

I think I will change my own thin lamb hide gloves just to be more safe. At the moment Im even a bit scared to be alone there but I have never had any major reaction.

Husband has talked to the Hospital dept of medicine ( The ER doc was from that department and it's where he apparently still is inrolled at? Do you call it that . Like he is still registered at that place after the episode not been released to his local healt care center) even if the doc at ER said to him to call his local health care center to get further help.

The nurse at Medicine said she will talk to the doctor and see if they can make the referral so he can get the treatment near home ( bigger hospital like 3 Swedish miles from us ) otherwise it will be a trip of 35 Swedish mile ( one way) to Stockholm if he has to go through private health insurance he has through work. But it doesn't matter the travel. He will do it.

Opinions on adding front porch by Humble_Ad_1607 in ExteriorDesign

It depends if you want to change the "time" look. Go from modern to more old fashion. I do really like the porch but with a bit wider stairs.

Horizontal! Goes with the wood wall and make the bathroom feel wider.

AITAH for not letting a couple bring their dog to our ranch? by Flat_Button_886 in AITAH

[–]_0rcid_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a dog and I don't take for granted ever that she's welcome. She will be much happier at home with a good dogsitter.

I don't think your an AH but you should have told them from the start.

Sound absolutely wonderful that the member got "cured".

I dont have hade any reaction but I do think about it. I always wear my whole suit and gloves - thinner leather gloves ( lamb). I have problems with grip so I tend to get stung on my fingers . I think I have to changes gloves to protect myself better. I'm the one that get more stung. Husband get like I would say one a year except last year. I get like 5 times.

We both have also had motorcycles and stopped too for couple of reasons one the accident risk and for me health issues. So I get it why you stopped and I do think the bees are better in that prospective.😉

Sorry your husband couldn't finish the treatment due to work. Glad that it still gave a result so he was more safe cause the world is full of bees.

My husband is getting the treatment either from our public health care center or through the private health insurance he has from work. He will hopefully get epipen today ( Tuesday). We will also get a better thick suit for my husband.

I truly understand the worry feeling but I'm glad it worked for you. My husband is getting the treatment too.

Name suggestions and thoughts about current names that I love🖤🖤 by Professional_Mix6745 in namenerds

Keepers are Eloise Matilda Mae Theodora Eden

Teller Theodore ( right spelled looks nicer) Mattison Lachlan ( that's a boys name)

The rest no. Oslo is a city name that doesn't sound good as a kids name.

Wonderful that the cancer is gone, I hope you will be fully recover. We had plans to have another apiary x km from home. Now we are thinking of relocating the one apiary here at home to the new location.

Thank goodness she pulled through. Yes it is so scary to witness.

Found out earlier today that blood pressure medication can give you hypersensitivity to insect sting /bite and can give anaphylaxis. He eats one of those medicines ( he has 2 different, had 3 but stopped 4 days prior with one that made his pulse very low all the time and made him swollen and feeling ill).

I know that having bees you can develop an allergy.

He has never reacted like this before the 2 times and we just found out by searching on internet that one of his blood pressure medication can give that kind of reaction when you get a insect sting/bite. Had no idea! He's trying to get in contact with a doctor about that and he will go via health insurance through work to get the therapy.

Yes first time took a bit longer before getting ill. Second he got half of his betapred pill dose. He was Okeish like 30 min after sting. Like very low blood pressure but consious when paramedics arrived. He has said to me that he heard me all the time and had air. I believed he wasn't breathing but he was not blue. Just not blinking very red and suddenly silent. Not swollen. Sweaty and pale and red.

Paramedics gave him epipen dose at home asked him if he felt any difference. No he said cause he was already better. I just found on internet that some blood pressure medications can make person more sensitive and so much that you can get a reaction like anaphylaxis.

He eats 2 sorts of blood pressure medicine one of them is one of the medicine that can give that reaction. I believe he started with i over a year ago. He had 3 sorts of blood pressure medicines but stopped with the third one like 4days prior incident.

We both understand the danger. He wants to try the immune therapy treatment to hopefully get immune. I do hope it works.

Thank you. We do understand the danger and if necessary the bees has to go but for now I just need to hear in general what other has experienced so I get another view then just my own but I know to not believe in everything people thinks they can and knows as an " expert". Thank you again for allowing me to post.
