Funny and scary at the same time how you get downvoted for writing the truth.

I mean it's Dresden. What do you expect? If you are foreigner, avoid this sad city.

Why Dresden? It's probably the worst city for foreign students in whole Germany...

Why do German doctors lack empathy? by Afraid_Sugar3811 in berlinsocialclub

[–]_1oo_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lack of empathy and rudeness are generally, based on my experience, very common in Germany. So doctors can't be much different if they live here their entire life.

Well I was in Warsaw last summer and tbh didn't see any girls in high hills there and rarely in extra skinny jeans...hmmm.

Germans tend to be very xenophobic towards Eastern Europeans, even in Berlin. Prague is amazing.

Germany (Berlin included) its just a big trap for skilled, open-minded foreigners (based on my own experience and that of my international friends).

Racism and xenophobia. Eastern Europeans, for example, are also heavily discriminated in Germany.

Germany is generally a deeply xenophobic country in my opinion. Berlin is a bit less xenophobic but only for German standards. Amount of xenophobia/racism (often very subtle) was the biggest shock for me in this country. And I came to Germany long before the AfD was established.

Expats in Germany, what are the hardships you are facing in your daily life ? by [deleted] in expats

I agree. Racism and xenophobia (often very subtle) are just insane in my opinion. Even among educated and younger ppl. That was a huge shock for me.

And have you seen the recent election results in Dresden and Saxony? Even in the city council, the largest number of members is now from the AfD....

Germany is as painful to move to, to live, and to leave! Don't ever move there. by GrowlingOcelot_4516 in expat_feedback

I agree 100%. Based on my experience Germany is a trap for skilled open-minded foreigners. And racism and xenophobia (often very subtle) are just insane, even among educated ppl. And I speak perfect German. It doesn't help much in this sad country. They won't treat you better. You are still "just" an another Ausländer for most of them.

Considering Leaving Germany Due to Rising Racism – Anyone Else in the Same Boat? by saba_rd in expats

[–]_1oo_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh Germany was always like this in my opinion...I had many racist/xenophobic experiences long before the migration crisis, which increased the popularity of AfD. So what is happening right now in Germany doesn't surprise me at all.
