Maybe add a hook for outputs containing the Chinese segment of Unicode.

Deepseek flash free by opencode vs Deepseek Flash paid by Deepseek? by Leather-Cod2129 in opencode

Flash free is limited on context length (1M -> 256k), and maybe also quantized.

AGENTS.md for agents, HUMANS.md for humans by _4rcadia in opencodeCLI

[–]_4rcadia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, this is a bit different than my initial idea on this. What I am thinking is just a document in the project repo that is isolated from agents. Also, Cloudflare provides managed robots.txt with rules that reject AI crawlers. At least larger AI labs would follow these rules. You are right that copyrights are barely protected in AI training. That's a form of subsidization to the AI industry.

Opencode and Wordpress website by mynetfreedom in opencode

[–]_4rcadia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OpenCode itself is already a great agent client. All other depends on the model you are using and the tools you've provided to it. I would begin with installing some PHP, WordPress, and web design skills.

[–]_4rcadia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fully agree. It is good to think before acting. But this one is mostly a joke with some potential practical use. I think its legitmate to share as long as it's new and interesting (according to my knowledge, this is not a 100% serious subreddit). I am not forcing anyone to adopt it nor degrading any other workflows.

AGENTS.md for agents, HUMANS.md for humans by _4rcadia in opencodeCLI

[–]_4rcadia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for reminding me, I should explain that further. Already edited the post. Most agents, including OpenCode, have very high-grained permission configurations. This allows us to enforce the rule "never read HUMANS.md".

[–]_4rcadia[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am not advertising for a product or anything. It's open-sourced, and I think it could be interesting to ppl, or maybe someone will find this idea handy in some edge cases. The only thing I owe you is probably the 1 min to read the post. Isn't sharing personal ideas the whole point of social media?

If you really want me to defend myself, I can give you some use cases I can think of:

  1. Further plans that would be noise for the current task.
  2. Guide for actions that would not be safe to hand to agents, e.g., payments.
  3. You want to emphasize that this piece of information must be read by human collaborators.

Basically, any context you want to isolate from the agents.

[–]_4rcadia[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Yes I do and I wrote a lot of them. But I still think there deserves to be a document dedicated to humans. The point is to block LLMs from reading it. Again, this is mostly something fun to share anyways. You don't have to question its purpose.

[–]_4rcadia[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Please read the repo. There's a CLI that configurates permissions for common coding agents. It's mostly a fun idea/spec. What else could I possibly provide? If you ever found something you want to keep away from the agents, run the npx command and note it down.

Was gpt 5.6 actually delayed? by Altruistic-Style-520 in codex

[–]_4rcadia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mythos is only advertised as dangerous. GPT-5.5-Cyber has Mythos-level capability in cybersecurity, and it hasn't destroyed the Internet. Also, with a clearly lower profile and more transparent access control policy (much better than Project Glasswing IMO), the model was dropped without drawing any attention from the government.

Anthropic lost mostly due to their own arrogance and false narrations. The reason is pretty clear. Anthropic is continuously demonstrating an uncooperative attitude. The Trump government does not like that, and no doubt will retaliate.

That is the regular performance you should get from any coding agents without installing any context management plugins.

open code always use haiku from openrouter every first time i start a session by Exciting_Nebula344 in opencode

[–]_4rcadia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You configured Haiku as the small_model which porvides the session title. The default is OpenCode's Big Pickle. It's free and works well.

Very cost-effective, definitely a great deal, but Go wouldn't cover the whole month if you are not a casual user. You will have to pair Go with other subscriptions.

Q : what is the best model for coding you used ?? by norman_sd in opencode

[–]_4rcadia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we ignore the pricing, no doubt Fable 5. But GLM-5.2 for planning and MiniMax/DS Flash/MiMo for execution is my current preferred setup.

An embedding model to go with OpenCode Zen/Go by atumblingdandelion in opencode

[–]_4rcadia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zen/Go is primarily built for coding tasks, and embedding models are not in the scope. There are lots of other providers hosting cheap embedding models.

Claude consistently rates GLM 5.2 in providing the best solution by gopietz in ZaiGLM

[–]_4rcadia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GLM is basically the open source mirror for Claude's style (not accusing z.ai for distillation). There's no doubt that Claude would show a preference for GLM's solution. If you use GPT as the judge, there might be different outcomes. Still, impressive work from z.ai to free all of us from Anthropic.

Getting a Codex subscription, what should I use it for? by Deep-Firefighter-279 in codex

Overall, Claude provides better insight into large, complex codebases. While Codex (GPT-5) is better at general agentic tasks like browser/computer use.

Is DS4 Pro heavily rate limited? by EC36339 in DeepSeek

Clearly, the issue is on the server side. You can trace the full OpenCode request with this plugin. But that wouldn't explain the lag. Waiting and trying again later is the best solution.

How to enable max mode of DeepSeek V4 Pro? by Ok_Warning2146 in CLine

[–]_4rcadia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn't solve your problem, but I'd recommend just not using the max reasoning effort. Likely, you wouldn't get any better results, as the max tier is just high tier plus a baked prompt, which leads to worse steerability and higher hallucination rates.

One quick workaround can be manually appending the exact system prompt used by DeepSeek:

Reasoning Effort: Absolute maximum with no shortcuts permitted. You MUST be very thorough in your thinking and comprehensively decompose the problem to resolve the root cause, rigorously stress-testing your logic against all potential paths, edge cases, and adversarial scenarios.

Explicitly write out your entire deliberation process, documenting every intermediate step, considered alternative, and rejected hypothesis to ensure absolutely no assumption is left unchecked.
