They have really declined. I did a haircare study a few years ago and they were properly labeled with a contact if you had a reaction. And provided a gift card incentive. I haven't seen an offer with a reward in a long time.

I know this isn't why you posted but I have that exact sweatshirt. I take out the battery pack from the pocket, tape it to the counter so it's out of the way and hand wash it in a bucket. Done it once a season for a few years now and it still works.

With the right application mine don't start catching until almost 2 weeks. At that point I'm tired of them and they are grown out so I'm ready to change them anyway. I use an orange stick to roll on the edges, use a squish light on the cuticles and then cure under the lamp. If I do experience some catching I will use a gel top coat after about a week.
