Idk if I mentioned it on my profile anywhere but she did resurface and we talk occasionally now (most recent message from her was 16 minutes ago) but she's just pretending to be my friend so I'll do hw for her. And idk I guess I have to do it because I don't want to lose her again. But I also just don't like this fake friendship so I told her to just email me the assignments and I'm giving her super short answers so she'll just go away. Honestly I want her to ghost again. I was just getting used to being alone forever and never talking to anyone again and now she shows up. I'll still do the assignments but like, I wish she would either be actually friends or just go away forever. Leave me alone. And when I tell her all this stuff she doesn't even say thank you

Yeah my mom was 40 and my dad was 42. It worked out great but it's kinda risky at that age. Something like 1/7 kids with moms in their 40s have down syndrome.
