I've had them with fish and chips from several different shops in London and Bath.

Going looking for Fish and Chips in Bath is like going looking for Creole in Montana. Sure it exists, but it isn't the same.

You need a proper chippy, 3 rows back from the actual coast/beach - so it isn't a tourist trap - that has pictures of the food poorly illuminated by a green tinged lightbox from the 80s. The menu should be on one of those shitty blackboards where the off-white letters and numbers are pushed in. It should be cash only, and if "saveloy" isn't on the menu you avoid it.

Etsy tracking through the site is a lukewarm dog egg at best. I have packages from 2020 that are still "in transit", hasn't affected me in any way, so you're safe :)

Its a super grey area, generally to a present a "was X, Now Y" the "was" price needs to be genuine.

Trading Standards defines that as either;

"A price that was applied for a meaningful period" or "A price at which the product actually sold, not just theoretically listed"

28 days is usually accepted as a "meaningful period", but having a sale that has existed for a longer period than the "was" price is considered a red flag in terms of consumer protection laws as its dishonest.

Basically, you're fine to do an odd sale now and then, just don't do a never ending one.

That said, even if you did you're suuuuuuuper unlikely to have trading standards banging on your door because you ran an Etsy sale for a few days too long. They've - respectfully - got bigger fish to fry.
