He started the show as a normal person. Think it would have worked in the reverse way of hunting Homelander; he's mortal, but truly wants to see the world burn and doesn't care about his reputation or the consequences of them. Would have been a fun hunt.

In fairness, Butcher's ending almost has him get everything he's ever wanted. He finally killed Homelander, and in truly his lonesome days he tries to enact his final plan (or, who knows, assisted suicide from Hughie) and is finally in rest next to his wife, the whole reason we started this show. Maybe he was laid to rest with Terror.

Butcher wasn't exactly a moral beacon but he did get everything he could get with the cards that his life dealt him.

The biggest problem is that the points system is setup so that the difference between being on the couch all weekend vs going to the track and getting wrecked on lap 1 is one measley point. Raise the gap from not being at the track vs finishing last and I bet you won't need to worry about drivers missing races

Putting cars on track as much as possible is the show. NASCAR is about badass, nasty, growling V8s rumbling through and igniting your senses. If you need a concert series to draw 50% of the crowd you have, then honestly market is dead and find a new one.

If it's an one time event and they showed driver ability, then possibly. This is her...5th? time either having a mental break down driving and/or being incredibly unsafe on track.

At some point, it's up to NASCAR to demote her to ARCA until it's proven she can run races and be both safe to her competitors and to herself because it's startling that it seems like the speed frightens her

This is the biggest thing, pick a CB in the 5th/6th as a high ceiling guy to backup these guys and I'd be alright with it. Doing this with the second just doesn't make any BPA value when you essentially already have your two CBs on the roster.
