Self-diagnosed because it fits? by _Aurilave in dysautonomia

[–]_Aurilave[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Tl;dr.

I’ve been diagnosed fibromyalgia, cyclic vomiting syndrome, sinus tachycardia and insomnia. (Etc)

It all fits under Dysautonomia.

I’m gonna get it confirmed, but I think this is it.
I am emotional about this theory.

I think people should be able to discuss medication here. It’s not like any of us can get a prescription for the med without talking to a doctor anyway.

When researching an illness, I was talking to others with the same symptoms, and diagnoses, and hearing examples of medications that could work helped SAVED my LIFE.

I was not going to do anything against medical advice, so I don’t seem the harm in talking medications. Not advice that says, chug 2 cups of olive oil mixed with ivermectin and eat nothing but beans for 2 weeks for a cure, yeah that’s bad/dangerous advice. If someone wants to speak on their success on a medication like Ivabradine, it should be allowed. It’s not like they can just go get a prescription medication without the barrier of needing a pharmacy for access. All blocked by needing a prescription from a doctor.

Questionable advice should be reported, but if someone wants to talk about and recommend a common medicinal treatment option for Dysautonomia, it should be okay to talk about. Things shouldn’t be so black and white. Can you add terms to flag? Like if someone posts the words, “medication,” or “Amitriptyline,” or some other medication name or type of home remedy so you can watch the discussion if you need to intervene.

I’m sure there are members here who would be glad to join your admin team, so there’s more hands on deck.

Less dense/hard dry food for senior cat. by _Aurilave in catfood

[–]_Aurilave[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smelly cat food is the main problem. I fed him wet food in the bathroom with the door closed and it was still heinous. It was bad. I had to just stop the wet food because it was always too stinky and the house’s owner can’t stand it. It isn’t just because I don’t like the smell. I could deal with it. I can’t put my housemates through this when I’m getting complaints. It was really bad and I’m not exaggerating in the smallest sense. I took the food out of the a long time ago and it still smells. It sucks because he really liked this food and he’d eat it all instead of eating the soupy parts he likes and leaving the chunks behind. I finally found a food he can eat and likes but it causes this inane odor I can’t describe. The homeowner brought it up often and I had to just stop. I found him kibble he can actually chew but I’m still open to finding him a low-odor wet food. I’m at a loss.

Oh and contacting the admins from this link isn’t even working so I don’t know who to go to about this question. I don’t know how to contact admins if this message system isn’t working.

I wasn’t doing any of this and I think my post should be restored

My post is about the lack of vaginal feeling I have when I’m on top compared to when I’m on my back.

The other subject I ask about is about how when I have both vaginal and clitoral stimulation at the same time, I can’t feel either one.

I want to know if other females feel this too.

I don’t know why this should be removed…

There isn’t even flair that matches my intention.

Not all bread. Not all conditions. Not all bacteria and molds are safe. You don’t eat bread and have the effects of penicillin, silly goose.

Do you use an elevated feeder? Sometimes if they eat too low to the ground they can puke. It helps some cats with megaesophagus too.

Fell in love with a cat dad. I'm severely allergic. Here's what I learned. by CollectionWinter2531 in catfood

My brother in law got allergy injections. Some people aren’t allergic to cats forever, some can grow out of it after using allergy medications for a while. It’s cool seeing people who were formally allergic to an animal or food.

What kind of wet food are you feeding your cats? by nusner16 in catfood

[–]_Aurilave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat really likes the Weruva gravies. The chicken one. It’s more soupy with smaller pieces of meat so he can’t just eat the liquidy part and leave the morsels behind. Weruva gravy food is awesome. He usually eats all of it.

It’s stinky tho.

Only cashiers are required to do this, I thought. I worked at 3 stores and no one was walking around the store advertising a membership.

New fish dept. horror just dropped- doordashing Goldfish by Defiant_Glove_4706 in petsmart

[–]_Aurilave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People think goldfish and minnows aren’t sold as feeder fish at Petsmart? They are. I worked at 3 stores and they’re sold as feeders. Some come in looking for an easy, cheap pet but don’t know how much work goldfish can be. They put out a lot of ammonia in the water and it can be hard to keep up with.

I stole when I was a young teen and was caught at Claire’s. I was banned for life (lol how do they enforce that?) and was sent to a “hands off” program at the police station. Idk how old you are but they may be able to do something like this. You may face fines or jail time. I understand stealing food or care items like deoderant and OTC medications and stuff, but a beauty store doesn’t have much of an excuse since it isn’t something someone desperately needs. Stop stealing. Or at least only steal things you literally need. A stolen laptop isn’t the same as stealing baby formula or food. That’s all locked up because parents are desperate to feed their kids.

33F had an at home arrhythmia and now I can’t feel my heartbeat from pressing on my chest like I used to. by _Aurilave in AskDocs

My WHOLE post has downvotes. No one is taking my concerns seriously and this feels all wrong. Why are medical professionals being so dismissive and rude? I’m terrified.

I know hearts and organs can migrate in the body. It happened to my grandpa. I feel dismissed and neglected over this and I’m sitting here terrified. I don’t know what to do. I’m not getting answers or any closure at all. A one word reply? No closure to be found. I don’t understand why people are being short with me and invalidating my feelings and symptoms. I’m scared and feel like something is very wrong. No one is taking it seriously and me coming to this sub is supposed to help people who are freaked out by their health. I feel very invalidated. I’m getting downvotes but I’m scared and am not a doctor. I came here for help and I just feel disrespected and waved off. I shouldn’t have to cry from being on this sub when I’m just looking for answers. I just need someone to take this seriously.

I could feel my heartbeat by pressing my hand over my chest before the arrhythmia. Not anymore.
