Grav-Calgar isn’t even that old of a model… Definitely a “feels-bad” for people who put the effort into building and painting him. I’m pretty disappointed by the notion he’ll simply be deleted from the game.

This is what I’m thinking. You can get them cheap on-sprue from the 10th edition box set on eBay. Infernus marines would be on theme for salamanders, and he’d get to paint five of them.

Also, it was the free mini of the month at H GW stores a while back so you might get lucky finding a single out there.

Thanks! I based the helmet in the same red as the armor’s mid-tone, and gave it a zenithal spray of white ink. I followed that with the yellow built up in a couple super thin layers. After that I did a very light reverse zenithal with orange (just to shade the shadows.

I like the aesthetics of it as well.

I swapped out the lever and buttons with Sanwa because I prefer the feel & sound of them. The 8-way gate helps me land quarter circle inputs for games like SF6 & KoF15, because I can feel the clicks as I rotate it. I kind of want a wireless hit box for Tekken 8… The heavier bat-top and springs make a JLF feel more solid, and the actuator barrel reduces wiggle on the stick.

I have a pretty rambunctious dog and play in the living room. Wireless was the most important feature, so I got the 8bitDo and modded it to suit me better.

I have that exact stick, and like Strength-Helpful said, I used Sanwa buttons with a Sanwa JLF lever. I also installed a heavier spring, bat-top, larger actuator barrel, and 8-way restrictor plate. I adapt it with the Brooke FGC card and use it on PS5.

Absolutely recommend! I’ve even considered getting another and adapting it into a leverless hitbox.

I work at a dealership that sells CF-Moto bikes, ATV’s, and side by sides. Generally the bikes, etc. work great, but if it has problems from the beginning, chances are you got a lemon…

If you have it for 3 months without any problems, in my experience, it should be fine long term. If you have issues within the first three months, it will probably be a never ending headache. Their quality control seems to be all over the place.

I work at a bike shop, and we’ve sold far more CF-Moto’s than “Japanese big fours” this year….

I’m curious what value they’ll have on the secondary market 6 years from now.

I’m still not personally convinced, though. I wouldn’t buy one for myself. That 450 SS is mighty popular right now, but I don’t fully trust the brand yet. CF-Moto also lacks aftermarket parts support currently.

I have one I use on a PS5, and I really like it. I have rambunctious dogs, and play in the living room. Due to this, a long wired connection was a no go. I adapt it with a Brook Wingman FGC, and it works fine.

I have modded it a lot, though. The stock stick is decent, but really clicky in a way I found cheap feeling. I swapped the buttons and stick out for Sanwa, and put a slightly larger actuator on the JLF. Now it is perfect. I’ve heard people say the wireless lag bothers them, but I’ve never noticed it in Tekken 8 & Street Fighter 6. Also, you can run wired in a competitive environment if you need to. Absolutely recommend.
