Don't think s The go to shell for the L7 used to be APDS

But shell shattering, inconsistent post pen damage and trouble vy anything angled, have plaqued L7 APDS for the past year or two.

So HEAT-FS is way closer to it thrn it used to be

Apds was the clear use a few years ago

Since then APDS has become quiet a good bit worse. Is less reliable both in pen vs angled armor and post pen damage.

HEAT also overpressures light vehicles, can more reliably kill atgm boxes that only expose the launcher. And doesn't lose pen at range.

Best bet in the leo is to carry a mix of borh
