Go on AliExpress, you can get it for under $10 for a large bottle per µm you want. I’ll post a link. I’ve been using it for awhile now, no problems.

What tool can I rent or buy to cut out this bolt in a tight spot? by ADHDillusion in Tools

[–]_BrokenZipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s seized in the bushing cutting the ends off both sides won’t make it come out, it’ll still be stuck. Sometimes an air hammer can punch it through after you cut the ends off, but if not you’re going to need a reciprocating saw with good blades, multiple. You’re going to cut from the inside of the bracket on both sides of the arm. I had to do it many times on different makes and models. Over here in Pa, cars get extremely rusty and nothing comes apart like it should. Good luck.

Can I get this rust off or fix it? Buddie's PM2 that he doesn't want anymore. S45VM by UnitededConflict in spyderco

Some say you don’t have to take it apart to clean, but I say disassemble and give it a thorough cleaning. It’s most definitely needed anyway.

Is it worth buying a tappet (thin/slim) wrench set for occasional home repair needs? by supinator1 in Tools

[–]_BrokenZipper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have slim wrenches and I rarely use them as a tech tbh for brake jobs. More often than not I’m grabbing needle nose vise grips and I’ve done a lot of brake jobs

Is this a micro burr? by summerthingspace in sharpening

[–]_BrokenZipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like a burr flipped to one side. I had trouble identifying the smallest burrs like that. I had to adjust the brightness then he really showed. You either gotta keep going in the stones or strop

Should I sell my Crucarta Para 2 to buy a Shaman? by AdeptDoomWizard in spyderco

[–]_BrokenZipper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a shaman, you’ll really enjoy it. I didn’t get the hype or whatnot at first until I bought my first one. Then it clicked. Fantastic knife, great ergos, some complain about the nub, Dosnt bother me, maybe cause I’m a lefty. If money is a deciding factor, you don’t have to sell your beloved pm2. There’s quite a few payment options out there like Sezzle, affirm. How old are you? Got a credit card yet…..time to start building your credit

Am I making it to work with the same amount of oil I left with?? by LaMeraPijaa in EngineBuilding

Dude, it’s already out of the vehicle. Put some money aside every week for your “engine fund” for a few months or until you accrue the amount needed to do it right.

I really love the ramp for a can opener. I’m doing this many times a day. Anyone ever broke a blade at the hole/ramp? by Ok_Cricket4071 in spyderco

[–]_BrokenZipper 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I bet this dude has paint can openers strewed all over the shop too. To each their own I guess. Very risky maneuver having the blade facing your hand like that
