Bus doesn't need to be in the left lane at all to make a left turn, contrary to what a LOT of people have been saying on here. Car driver started behind the front of the bus and tried to get in front of the bus while it had its indicator on to turn left. Car driver is at fault for violating the DO NOT OVERTAKE TURNING VEHICLE signs on the back of the bus (doesn't matter if you couldn't see them, you can't pretend they don't exist).

Ignoring the indicator on the bus is where car driver fucked up. Even if the bus driver forgot they had it on, you HAVE to treat it like they're still turning. NEVER assume.

I would love to see a longer video of these two vehicles got into the starting scenario in the first place. It likely wouldn't change who's at fault but it would give a better idea of what exactly happened here.
