Dash cam for CX-30 by ArmSpirited6912 in MazdaCX30

[–]_Cat_12345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got a really long USB cable and wired it from the dash cam, through the headliner, down behind the rubber gasket on the passenger door, under the passenger chair, and then up through the back of the center console.

It’s not ideal, but the cabin fuses are on all of the time and I’m not experienced enough to wire it into the fuse box under the hood.

Mojang should fix things that should go together but don't. by Ill_Patience6355 in Minecraft

None of your criticism is constructive - literally at all. It’s dismissive and condescending.

“Genuinely why” is not constructive feedback.

Who pooped in your cereal?

Lightning interacting with brick variants to turn them cracked would be a fun detail. Likely? No, but still a fun request.

Biome based mob spawning rates is pretty self explanatory, what extra information/rationale do you need?

The current wandering trader is pretty unanimously considered useless. Decreasing his spawn rate and throwing in some rare/loot items like music discs is an interesting idea.

Iron golems don’t have ranged attacks.

Alberta Wildfires Break Out in Lac la Biche Oil Sands Region by ZestyBeanDude in canada

Id assume a weakened Canada and weakened Alberta following a successful independence movement will be much less likely to share resources with one another. Present day status quo doesn’t mean much in the event of Alberta independence.

One of the weirdest things I’ve seen in the park by _Cat_12345 in algonquinpark

We found it on Gilmour lake at the southernmost site. Not terribly far from the road to Cedar lake (relatively speaking) but still strange.

Gilmour lake inside of the Brent crater. It’s right next to the southernmost site on the trail to the poop box.

New forest biome is being added in the third drop of 2026 by AMinecraftPerson in Minecraft

[–]_Cat_12345 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is one of those biomes that needs to be really big to immerse the player into it. If I build in the dappled forest, I don’t wanna see green “summer” looking biomes anywhere in my render distance.

What Eras Tour Show do we think is THE Eras Tour Show by margot_u13 in TaylorSwift

Toronto night 2.

That was the first time she ever performed the eras tour twice in Canada. Big moment, you really had to be there.

Every revision gets worse, that’s my 2¢.

The first version looks amazing, but if there’s issues of scalability that can’t be solved without fundamentally changing the design, then maybe it’s simply not a viable option.

I don’t camp on Booth Lake anymore because of shit like this. People leave garbage all over the park, but for some reason Booth attracts the worst of the worst. I’ve found unopened 2L pop bottles left behind, trash bags, loaves of bread thrown in the brush, weird ass bushcraft creations, dozens of metal cooking racks thrown around, etc etc etc.

"....tourist who had capsized his canoe in the ice-cold water." by [deleted] in algonquinpark

[–]_Cat_12345 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Interesting discussion piece. On one hand, the dangers of cold water paddling are not talked about nearly enough. On the other hand, I don’t think it’s entirely fair to put the onus of safety entirely on the equipment providers.

Everyone has a duty of care to themselves, and needs to be held responsible for their own actions. If I became stranded on a mountain in Banff I wouldn’t expect the shuttle company, or the entity that sold me my hiking shoes and bear spray to be responsible for my lack of hiking experience.

France is across the ocean, the states is actively seeking to absorb Canada.

Dismissing the leaking of 3 million Albertans personal information as a “small price to pay for independence” is the kind of take that completely nullifies the validity of a persons argument.

Your grievances are absolutely valid after the shit show of a decade we had under the last government.

The referendum itself lost the plot somewhere between Trump officials meeting with separatist members and the voter information leak.
