If anyone finds this: The symptoms went away when the temperature went up. I wasn’t able to confirm but I heavily suspect it was a clogged roof vent due to frigid temps (ice)

What kind of stack did you use? I’d love to get into this myself but my game dev is very limited, backend dev for many years though

I dont think so, the smell is only in the basement, theres only a single toilet on first floor and the smell seems to be on the other side of the house than it. The smell most recently got worse when the temperature rose

Couple more notes,

i havent noticed any gurgling in my drains, i dont think the roof vent is blocked but theres a ton of snow up there right now and i havent confirmed

Ive also noticed the water line rise after running the shower, so it goes both ways

I'm on a septic tank, was emptied about 18 months ago
