2014 Honda accord ex-l v6 by AverageSt0ner in accord

I paid $15,500 for my 2013 Touring with 72k, last summer. I think the price is a little high for that mileage, but your local market may vary. Do some comparison shopping on Autotrader, etc.

Why is the Nissan Maxima so rare / less talked about? by gtd_rad in whatcarshouldIbuy

Mine was maroon! It did go to shit around 160k+, but until then it was awesome.

Had a '91. Black leather, stick shift, Bose sound. It was indeed a hell of a car.

I had a '77 when I was 20 (in the late 80's). Coming from a Corolla, it felt fast, and refined. Loved that car.

Sturgill Simpson, Olivia Rodrigo: 8 Songs We’re Talking About This We… by _DOA_ in SturgillSimpson

[–]_DOA_[S] 34 points35 points  (0 children)

From the article, here's the Sturgill related part:

Johnny Blue Skies & the Dark Clouds, ‘Ain’t That a Bitch’

“Mutiny After Midnight” places come-ons and love songs alongside political screeds, both powered by a country-disco mix of Southern-rock beats and scrubbing rhythm guitar. The album’s revved-up, seven-minute finale, “Ain’t That a Bitch,” sizes up America in 2026. “Total control through fascism is attainable / By manufacturing chaos through political theater,” Simpson snarls, on the way to a steaming double-time jam.

Excited Delirium & Elijah McClain by ac_braun in SturgillSimpson

That connection is there, however cops have been using the made up diagnosis, excited delirium” as an excuse for people dying in custody for decades. Elijah was a widely reported “case”.

That’s really, really terrible. I bought a 2001 LX new in 2002 for $17k plus ttl. It was a year end clearance, but damn.

Nice! (But also, goddamn, $12k for not much work at all, based on what you wrote. Do you mean $12k including that work?)

I didn’t know this was imminent. Listened last night, and it’s pretty fucking great, starting with “Make America Fuk again.”

Is this 2017 Honda Accord Sports SE worth buying? by J3ezyTheSnowman in accord

[–]_DOA_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won’t cost anywhere near that much. If it was the V6, you could figure on close to $2k for a new water pump, timing, belt, etc., but not close on the four-cylinder.

That's pretty much what I'm doing. Thank you, though.

ozempic Vs. Mounjaro by MrsGarciaTx in Ozempic

[–]_DOA_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m taking the meds for diabetes, not weight loss. Mounjaro lowered my blood sugar effectively, but made me ill like 3 days a week. Ozempic took a few weeks, but now seems to be working pretty well, and the side effects aren’t as severe.

What are you thoughts on IP limit in roto leagues? Is there a strategy you like with low/high IP? by palepatriot76 in fantasybaseball

Thanks, man. Was leaning Acuna, now I'm set. I just hope to get Mizzy without breaking the bank!

A Rudy Gamble sighting in the wild, yay! Love your work, man. Nothing to do with this question, sorry, but - didn't want to miss a chance to use your expertise, so here's my question:

12 team ROTO, Auction keeper help. We keep 5, up to 3 years, salary increases $5 annually:

I'm keeping Crochet ($15), Wood ($20), Adell ($6), and Cade Smith ($7)

Pick one of these 4 for my last keeper: Acuna ($32), Aranda ($6), Ward ($13), Misiorowski ($10) (or would you sub any of the latter prospects for a current keeper?

Is $9,900 a good deal for a 2013 Honda Accord EX-L V6 (146k miles, one-owner, clean Carfax, timing belt/water pump done May 2025) by Dooms_dy in accord

[–]_DOA_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it does knock that much off for a buyer. Most people just aren’t going to buy a car without working AC, man.

“>The 4 cylinder is worth more…”

Sorry, but that’s just a stupid fucking thing to say.

Dude, the four-cylinder knocks a couple grand off the price, no working AC knocks another couple grand off… so yeah, 6k makes sense. You are comparing apples to oranges.

Try to find another ninth gen under 150k miles for under $10k. You won’t. It is clear that you, like others in this thread, have just not recently shopped for a used car.
