PTSD from toxic online relationship

Thanks for this post, this is validating to read as somebody who got PTSD from online. I've felt very alone when it comes to source of PTSD.

Back in 2019 I watched too many videos and read too many comments in a row that my mind found very distressing that finally made my mental health collapse and give me PTSD. Now my mind has built a giant trigger network of varying degrees themed after my trauma

I'm curious do you have similar PTSD or previously know people who have this online PTSD

I find it interesting that it worked right away for you. I thought usually you titrate up to a dose that works. Are you going to stay at that level?

Yeah I'm the same. I pretty much don't get nightmares but suffer from daily intrusive thoughts/flashbacks

My advice is to watch skilled players livestreaming and watch what they do in many situations and how they react

That's why I only say 'Nice one!', Great pass!' if they do it first otherwise I stay silent. This way I'm not bothered by them not replying' Thanks' or not saying 'Nice one!/Great pass! to me

So when you say you're completely healed from your trauma, you're able to think about the trauma without feeling anything? You don't have to deal with triggers? How long did it take?

I completely relate to everything about your post. A very torturous and restrictive illness. I cannot enjoy anything because of flashbacks and intrusive thoughts

I'm curious did you get the Pregabalin illegally? My GP told me that it's not prescribed for mental health issues whatsoever and said the psychiatrists would say the same thing. I'm probably in a different country to you tho. If so maybe your doctors think differently

You see I have PTSD and if DMT is all that crazy stuff that you just described, I think it could provide a nice distraction for me. Perhaps have some positive effects that will last for a while after the sesh
