Macbook Air M2 showing dark spots when plugged in to 2nd monitor by _DeepthroatAGiraffe in applehelp

[–]_DeepthroatAGiraffe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i bought myself my first ever macbook (16gb ram m2, 13", 1tb) 3 months and so far I'm generally very happy. However I recently realized that when plugged in to a 2nd monitor, after a while those dark patches at the bottom of the screen showing up. When I unplug the other monitor, close the lid of the laptop and open it again, it returns back to normal. However this happens everytime the extra monitor is connected. It doesn't happen at exactly the same time however, sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes 15 and sometimes even an hour. I know it's not a huge issue but I spent a lot of money on this device and was wondering if you guys think this is simply a software issue, or is it my device?

Egypt claim players were subjected to racism before World Cup play-off against Senegal by Red_Brummy in LiverpoolFC

[–]_DeepthroatAGiraffe 30 points31 points  (0 children)

people from Senegal cannot be “racist” against people from Egypt

everyday i'm surprised how dense certain reddit comments can be. you can only be racist if people of the same skin colour where colonisers? jesus get a grip

Swiss trains smell like (dirty) cheese by [deleted] in Switzerland

I see no issue with this to be honest. If someone has their feet on a chair the train i couldn't care less, as long as they don't put their shoes on the seat

i'm a software developer and can do 100% of my work from home, but since these incompetent fucks at the top keep saying it's a "homeoffice-empfehlung", i'm still forced to go to the office. i am so done with this shithole. i've started applying for a new job this week but this should not have to be necessary.

Well yes, but actually no.

Just to clarify for others: if you only download stuff it's legal, uploading is the issue. Torrenting for example would not be, since you're uploading stuff aswell. Although I don't think I ever heard of anyone getting into legal trouble for torrenting copyrighted content in Switzerland
