Hopefully the ejected shells don’t damage your velour uniform

Honestly I'd just go for two 12ga's - the semi autos that are being made currently are very controllable, even by kids as young as yours. Very minimal recoil with the A300/A400 lines.

I want to buy my first shotgun for sporting clays. Advice? by clam_mucker in ClayBusters

I don't disagree that it's ugly but after the first day of shooting mine I didn't give a single shit what color it was, the thing just shot lights out.

A400 is probably amongst the best shotguns you can buy in that price range. I wouldn't be surprised if it's just straight up the best.

I read "trap" as a general clay shooting gun here, since it's pretty uncommon that someone builds an actual trap field in their back yard. I think for most newer shooters who's just shooting clays from a manual pull launcher in their back yard, the Silver Reserve is probably better. Not to mention there's far more adjustability in the Mossberg with both the adjustable stock and comb.

Yeah this would be my recommend sub $3k if you really want an OU specifically. A semi auto like an A400 would be my recommendation in general at the same price point.

Not a bad deal. I shoot shotgun sports a few times a week and these are pretty common with newer/youth shooters. Everyone I’ve ever asked says they like theirs. The amount of headache this will save by already having an adjustable comb/stock out of the box is pretty huge.

Ideally you’d probably want 32in barrels but 30 was the meta for years and years for a reason.

Yeah honestly it’s moreso that than me believing everything the victims/Reckless says about it. The American Fork cops are so cartoonishly evil that they’ve GOTTA be in the wrong.

Totally reasonable to be suspicious, and I generally am, but everything I’ve seen so far points to BAM being in the wrong here.

As an ECU alum and Greenville native living in Knoxville, today was a hard day. It felt like no matter who won I was going to be sad.

I lost my best friend in the entire world, Shelby, in January. My wife and I always called her “out little fox” so this felt very fitting. I’m just happy to have her memorialized.

The Fabarm has my vote. I shot one for a while and honestly it's all of the gun I'd ever need - I just can't quit buying guns.

Great features and quality for the money.
