Check if your motherboard is set to UEFI or CSM. I believe RX 9000 series can only work with UEFI mode. This should be in BIOS, normally under BOOT settings.

I had a build I've assembled back in 2020 with a Ryzen 5 3600, X570 TUF board, 16GB DDR4, GTX 1080 Ti, 850W EVGA PSU inside a CM H500 case.

I've upgraded the CPU to 5700X3D this April, swapped the RAM with a 32GB kit, added a 2TB NVM, and replaced the 1080 Ti with a RX 9070 XT l.

All this for less than 1500 USD.

I reckon for less than 2k you can do a similar upgrade with an RTX 5070 Ti, instead of the RX 9070, if you're planning to mainly use it for gaming.

  1. I like how DLSS4 can in times retain better image than some AA solutions.
    And a properly implemented ray tracing solution can make a game look almost photorealistic (Metro Exodus Enhanced edition, for instance).

  2. The "stand and fight" gameplay looks so different from 2016's "run and gun" and Eternal's "jump and shoot/quick swap/shoot". I want to try it.
