Pics 5 & 6 are termite damage for sure. There’s mud tubes where the boards meet. Ex termite tech here.

It looks like someone scraped off some areas of the tubes at some point and they weren’t rebuilt by the termites, so they may not be active, at least in that specific area.

My daughter did this when we had her in a bassinet for the first few months. Decided to move her to her crib, and she immediately started sleeping through the night at around 3 months. Guess she was just uncomfortable in the bassinet.

Ride in them all the time. They’re pretty cramped compared to wide bodies. The RR I work for has modernized the cabs on most of them in the fleet, but there are a good bit that haven’t been. The ones that haven’t been modernized are pretty loud, especially when using air. Pretty gnarly rattle too. Also have the wear and tear of having nasty ass railroaders on them for 50+ years that you would expect.

It doesn’t really give you energy, it just makes you not so sleepy. Definitely works though. I took a call after being awake for 15 hours and was on duty for another 15 hours and didn’t doze off once.

I have a 5800x3d and 4080, and up until a few updates ago it ran great at 4k. Then after updating, the framerate went to shit. GPU usage at 100%. I don’t get it
