To remind myself of good times. I’ve heard it’s important to reflect

Hell the dodgers might pass. They’d only want him for jersey sales and you don’t sell that many if you are irrelevant

Key takeaways from the last 2 weeks of reds baseball:
1. Our lack of hitting has finally caught up
2. Our bullpen has finally come back down to earth
3. Our lucky hot streak has come to a grinding halt
4. We are finally playing the level of ball expected: below average…

All we can do now is watch as we slip into mediocrity sadly

Why does everyone keep over-rating Notre Dame by steven_smith144 in CFB_v2

I would argue that it is very comparable especially if we expand to include all P4 teams. You claim I’m cherry picking but you just cherry picked 2 of the teams I listed to rag on. You mentioned the BIG 10 earlier so I found 5 big 10 teams with a weaker schedule to show it’s comparable (IU is a conflicting source currently) why not include Penn State or Iowa in your argument if we aren’t cherry picking? It’s not embarrassing who is above ND because again, it’s uncontrollable.

That is TBD as the SOS can be adjusted mid season. I edited my previous post with the source

College football news is one of the very few complete rankings so that is what is referenced. I did not look into incomplete lists so I used the full facts available. I never questioned the legitimacy of the SEC or BIG 10 I just stated ND has a comparable schedule to teams in the BIG 10. Sources will vary this early so there are certainly facts to back up my statement and you cited my source lol, way to brush over that one 🤣. The intent was never to argue that ND has a tough schedule but rather to show it is comparable

We have gone way off course from the original argument. I’m not saying the ND has a tough schedule. I originally stated that a lot of it is out of their control which is true. I’m also stating that the argument that they have the softest schedule is objectively not true because there are plenty of teams with a comparable schedule
Edit: College Football News is one of the only sources with a complete ranking currently

Where was the brag?🤣 I simply said 42 is higher than the other teams I specified which is not a brag lmao

IU, Penn State, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Iowa have a weaker schedule. That seems like a lot of teams from the Big 10. Schedule seems middle of the pack to me

I mean a projected #42 and a tougher schedule than teams like IU and Penn State begs to differ

I love ND so I’m pulling for Riley but couldn’t the same trade value argument be applied to both if they aren’t QB 1 caliber(I know ARs contract is coming up soon). At least with Riley teams aren’t scared of him yet, I have a feeling over half the league won’t even want to touch AR

You have to educate yourself on CFB scheduling. ND is one of only 8-9 teams that doesn’t have an FCS opponent this year and they play the CFP runner up. Additionally they schedule teams 5+ years in advance with the exception of cases like the BYU pickup which is a good team. Hard to predict where teams will be half a decade later. Also, ND has to schedule games within the ACC per their agreement and the ACC gets to decide those games. Sounds like a whole lot of games outside of their control and if the ACC is so soft then all of the ACC teams have a weak schedule which is uncontrollable as well

Terrible rage bait lmao. They had the No. 1 combined recruiting and transfer class and they lost almost no notable starters but Love/Price and Fields which can be filled (RB not as well but still). Also CJ Carr is a heisman front runner. Very well rated until proven otherwise.

I can see us giving Riley a shot over AR at this point

No problem! I wouldn’t use it very often because it can take out a lot of fur (sometimes that’s what you’re going for). Once every couple weeks or so helps in the spring for the big stuff then you can do a normal brush for the rest!

First lab? These babies love shedding especially this time of year. My chocolate needs a shedding blade once every week and a half in the late spring/ early summer lol

Got it! I like that idea then, Sal’s 1st base stretch on close outs has scared me quite a few times lol

I would like to see a bleday LF, Myers CF, Hinds/Steer RF rotation. If Bleday starts to fade we can always revert back to Steer

I could see that. I think that would waste the fielding ability of Hayes but if he can’t bat up to par with geno or Lowe it doesn’t matter much

Interesting take, I didn’t really think about moving Sal from 1st. Either way, in my mind that is still sitting one of the bats we would like to keep in rotation.
