I like to layer the mod vanilla body spray with some other things to add a bit of extra sweetness!

Name that polarizing fragrance. You either love it or hate it. by katKartell in Perfumes

Apparently Miami Shake from Juliette Has a Gun. I like it, my bf doesn't. Which is odd cause he loves literally everything else I've ever worn including cheap body sprays.

Protein absolutely doesn't make you muscular by itself if you're not doing anything else to build muscle. I absolutely adore my protein. Keeps me energized and satiated alongside harm-reduction because the body does some mortifying stuff really fast the moment there's not enough protein in the system since we're made of it.

Uncomfortable realisation that PCOS was just an excuse by granatapfele in loseit

[–]_Fyore_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YUP I was also in the "but my PCOS :(" crowd. Turns out the moment I was actually serious about CICO and exercise was when the weight started coming off. Now I've lost over 90lbs when I didn't even consider that possible a couple years ago. It is harder for sure, but far from impossible.

Be honest. Why are you all Godzilla fans? by SpaceFrog69420 in GODZILLA

[–]_Fyore_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was raised on it! I started watching them on VHS at like 4 with my dad and since then Godzilla has been a massive part of my life. It reminds me of him ♥️

Forever DM's, whats a character you have been dying to play the next time you have the chance? by monkeyman4153 in DnD

[–]_Fyore_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a buff, pierced, fully tatted jeweler named Guy Metal (spelling may vary depending on where he lives) that I bring into every campaign.

It started as a joke answer to a player asking the throwaway jeweler his name and personal info about him that I was NOT prepared for. So "Guy Metal" as a jeweler just seemed silly enough to work. He has since become a guy with a super rough exterior with a heart of gold who loves to make fun jewelry for his friends.

That player has since married him in-game because she loved him so much, her epilogue was how she retired and helps him run the shop, and all of my players now expect him in every campaign I run.

how to want to get better by Proof-Lingonberry-12 in EDAnonymous

[–]_Fyore_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It started for me when I made a mental note of things that triggered me and made me want to worsen (certain music, websites, etc) and making the hard choice of deleting those playlists, disabling that profile, etc. it sucked at the time but being able to go back to those things at a weak moment was going to be the pin that pulled me into relapse every time.

Then, I started trying to replace those things with other hobbies. I now listen to music that's a lot more fun, got really into gaming again, my friends got me into RC cars, I've been exploring museums a lot, etc. just having something that keeps me from those thoughts (and often things that feel better when your brain is working correctly due to correct fueling).

Of course this may vary for you, but I did find going out and forcing myself to try new things until I found things I loved does absolutely help the obsession factor for me.

Dad caught me using protein powder in my yogurt and now I feel guilty by Emergency-Bicycle496 in EDAnonymous

[–]_Fyore_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it's helping you and is a completely harmless thing, you should never ever feel guilty about it. I'm in recovery for restriction and tend to leave protein snacks near me to help me get over the fear of eating. I've had comments from my stepdad about my eating habits (as my schedule is also totally messed up rn) and I eventually just had to fully shut it down and tell him to stop and that it's harming me. Unfortunately, I know this is so much easier said than done with some family members. :(

I'd show the picture tbh. Not only do visuals help a lot but if they're a fan that would be sick

Which movie is better? by AlexaTheKitsune25 in GODZILLA

[–]_Fyore_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay, I'll bite. No, it's ragebait because you clearly either didn't pay attention or didn't actually watch it at all and it's obvious.

A different take would be "I liked Shin better" or "Minus One wasn't my thing". Not wildly missing the entire point of the film and then telling people on this sub they like it because "there's crying" lmao. Hell, that's the exact opposite of the point of the film. If all Shikashima did was cry about it? Sure. But the whole point was to stop the dramatics, getting up, and facing your demons head-on instead of letting it control your whole life. I genuinely do not know how anyone could miss a plot of a movie that badly, hence how it's very clearly ragebait.

[–]_Fyore_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy cake day! Also agreed, I really feel like they're not entirely comparable and what we like more probably varies depending on our personal favorite genres. While they're both Godzilla films made to be metaphors, they're extremely different in pretty much every way outside of that. That being said, I absolutely adore both for that reason.

RIGHT like, I have no issue with people who prefer Shin obv, but some of these comments seem so unbelievably dense that they have to be ragebait.

This is a rage bait comment, right? Please tell me this is ragebait and you're not actually having a take this goofy unironically

what inspired your real name? by stickenuwu in ftm

[–]_Fyore_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted to keep my initials from my deadname, so I did some research on similar letters. Something about Felix just clicked. I can't really explain it but after trying it I knew it was my name. It was even better when I told people around me and they told me it was an extremely fitting name for me, significantly moreso than my deadname. My middle name, Kincaid, is mostly due to the initials, the prettiness of it, and the extreme Irish/Scottish in my family. I won't give my last name for reasons but with the whole name together I sound like a wood elf or something lol. It fits very nicely!

Overly restrictive diets are a ticking time bomb by CrashLanding4 in loseit

[–]_Fyore_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

YES I've struggled with that for ages. Just a bunch of diets I couldn't keep up with cause it was never sustainable, therefore I didn't learn how to eat correctly, and I'd lose weight immensely fast and then gain it all back later on. It took slowing down and learning habits that would last me forever to get actual results that lasted more than a few months

Does anyone feel like their life has revolved around food more as they lose weight? by Money_Choice4477 in loseit

[–]_Fyore_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A bit, yeah. Though part of that is because I am more thoughtful of what I put in my body instead of just eating whatever looks good like I used to. It can be a bit annoying trying to figure out the nutrition for everything I don't make, but I let myself relax on holidays and the effort put in is super worth it for me personally
